I was kind of asking you guys to get creative..

So my apartment complex is near a high school. Almost every day their high school band plays their damn drums and instruments and it annoys the hell out of me. Any ideas on how to get these idiots to stop?

I never lived there in the first place. You do have a point though..

Okay, so I just started my sophomore year in college. I am currently enrolled in a university in Orlando, Florida. I have an easy job that allows me to study at work without much stress. But the thing is I kind of dislike it here a lot. This is mostly because no one from my high school came here, and its very hard to make friends without one or two by your side. I have been able to make friends, but none that I can really call up and chill with all day. On the other hand, in Tallahassee, most of my friends from high school are at the college there. The town is awesome, has a real college town feel to it, as opposed to Orlando which doesnt have much character. I am stuck at a crossroads, because I am thinking about moving to Tallahassee where i will have guaranteed fun for the two years that I have left (isnt that what college is all about?) If I were to stay in Orlando, I would probably stay being miserable but have the comfort of having a good job. Any thoughts on what I should do?
