did you checked all the cables???, some cable could be loose in there, also if you opened the machine without proper grounding equipment you could fry your hardware WITH ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE

FIRST THINGS FIRST

check the cables, all of them

if nothing happens, maybe the graphics card is loose, it can happen, just push it gently towards the motherboard

if everything still the same , it could be a hardware problem, a dead cpu can have that effect, same with dead ram, or there could be a shortcut which is the hardest to spot.

if nothing else works, shoot the dang thing, and build one. ..... kidding.

hrah
ok i always ground myself and i have checked all the cables, my first thought was that was the gpu being loose ,i was using it about 3Months ago so i doubt its dead hardwere. and btw i bulit my own this is my mums lol :)

BF 2142 doesn't work in widescreen resolutions. You'll have to try setting it to a normal resolution your monitor supports, probably 1024 x 768.Teufelhuhn

ok but that dosent fix things either it's still really bright and pixelated
