Half Life 2 is one of the most exciting shooters out there right now, but I thought Half Life 1 was considerably better. What held it back from being more enjoyable was the story line. When playing through the game, I found myself being sucked into what person X had said when I was well past its divulgment. The fact that the characters in the game don't tell you what has been going on since your stasis took place kind of bothered me. The only thing that that did was leave you to think and fill in the blank of what could have occured, which kind of took away from the gameplay. In Half Life 1, they just drop you in a world to have fun. The story of HL 1 didn't really take away from the gameplay. It didn't leave you wondering what the hell those vortigaunts were, unlike the Combine. Personal opinion HL 1 was better than HL 2. ^'s where my reasons. Cant wait for ep.3 and HL3 though.
thats a very nice video but our beef over there is not with the mountains, or the birds, or the flowers, or the hot women it's with the extremist people. let them do whatever they want but they better be ready for the reprecusions that follow.
wait hold on. I'm a ps3 fan but just because xmb will be free doesn't mean it'll be better. If anything, something that is paid for will most often than not be better because there is money flowing into the service. the company which has the money flowing into the service will have a easier time making the service better. Now that's not to say that xmb is gonna suck cause it wont have a lot of money flowing into it, or that sony wont try and make it better and better. Its just that something thats paid for will be better more often. I still think that xmb will see a lot of clients though.
