First off, it's the hot topic so there should be tons of bioshock threads. Each thread is slightly different than the other. Also, if I ask a bioshock question with a new thread, I only have to go back to the thread I made to read responses instead of sifting through hundreds of non-related posts in a single thread. Locking these threads is dumb.
It's a fair score because of the fatal flaw of enemies health levels being at the same point as when you died. Makes the game more of an interactive movie because the challenge is gone. I'm hoping this gets rectified with an update which would make it damn near the perfect single player game.
A petition to create an update that solves the main complaint of the game... respawning with enemy damage being at the same point as when you died. How hard would it be for them to put out an update that gives you the option to leave it as it is or reset enemy health levels when you die. It's the biggest complaint and seems like an easy fix.

Gamespot is definetely the harshest, but I'm still expecting somewhere between 9.3 and 9.7 from them. This game is definetely original and innovative on so many levels. This is probably the best atmosphere I've ever seen in a game.
If it has a year warranty, point out to the person on the phone that the system hasn't been out for a year. I don't see why you would need a receipt if you point that reason out.
