X-Box Warranty

It turns out that Microsoft has extended the warranty to 3 years from the original purchase date for this hardware failure so I will get mine fixed for free. It gets shipped off today.

It sucks but at least it isn't going to cost me anything.

X-BOX 360 Dies Again

What a piece of junk. The first one lasted 11 months and I sent it in under warranty. The second one lasted 12 months. My buddy has gone through two as well.

It is as if they time it to fail right around the time that the warranty goes out.

X-Box 360 = junk!

Another X-Box 360 Death

It happend, the 'red circle of death' and my X-box 360 is toast. It happened to two of my friends and me. All of us have had our X-Box less than a year and they all died so that is a 100% failure rating within 10 months of purchase. What does that say about Microsoft's quality? I used the crap out of my PS2 for 7 years before it gave up. I got 10 months out of my X-box 360.

I called Microsoft and they were very nice about it. They are paying shipping and there will be no cost to me. I was lucky because it happend within the first year. If it had been out of that time period, I would have been SOL and out of pocket.

It is such a great system, too bad the manufacturing quality is so bad.

So, I finally left the Playstation World

I was an amateur car racer and have followed the Gran Turismo series all the way from the original game on the PS1. In fact, it is the reason why I have been a Playstation loyalist for a decade. When the new GT game for the PS3 was delayed, and delayed, and delayed again, I started looking elsewhere for a racing game.

Well, I found it in FM2 and it really is a better game than the GT games. So, I put up the dough for an X-Box 360 and am damn glad I did. Sony can keep their PS3 for the price that they want and the game selection for that console is still laughable considering how long it has been out.
