@R4gn4r0k: the campaign is fine, you can beat in 10-15h. After that you may try the dark zone and the daily missions for 3-4 hours more. Then after that there's not much to do.
@Greyfox-101:The big problem with so called open world games is that they set up an story which should lead you from point A to point B, in such scenario the open world thing becomes a distraction and therefore exploring it somewhat breaks the narrative.
A game like Mass Effect would work as an open world if the only premise were something like: your mothership has crashed on a strange planet, explore that planet and its inhabitants (each one with their own stoy) and its surroundings (also with their own stories) in order to see whats going up. That is, no main story no plot, just exploration, meeting characters and getting involved with their/yours own stories. All while trying to make that planet your own home.
Really looking forward to see what they have for the show. I skipped the One for several reasons but have a decent collection of 360 games. Now that nearly 40-50% of them are backwards compatible it looks like a good time to join MS again. That said they must convince me with their product, not too bulky or expensive to rival a PC nor TV/media gimmicks, just a good gaming machine this time please.
What a relief to hear this man, I'm so tired of this open world madness, I just want big, well designed levels not tons os wastelands to wander around doing stupid side quests.
@lithus: I think blocking is going to depend entirely on lag and internet connection, not my problem though since I not going to play, found it way boring and repetitive, not my kind of game I guess.
@topgun182: The only thing that could attract me from the update is the fact that enemies are less sponge like, but I doubt that going from 3 to 2.5-2.25 clips an enemy makes that much difference. Anyway it's too late for me to make a come back.
These are ugly as hell! I won't be getting any of them because the wireless lack is a break dealer for me. That said I'm glad they are opening the door to third party controllers. Now I can have hopes that they release some pro/elite-like controller in the future that fit my needs I have Scuf and they are simply terrible.
