I initially wanted to put this on the day of 9/11 but I couldn't so I'm doing it today. 9/11 was an awful day for everyone in America. At the time I was pulled out of school that day and I remember it was the first time I ever saw my dad cry. He didn't tell me he what happened at that moment and tears came down his eyes and said "New York had a terrorist attack today". From that moment on I cried as well and it was unforgettable. Yesterday at school we took a moment of silence when the first plane hit the building. That day was very devestating and should never be forgotten. I think that someday in the future kids should have a day off from school. Not because they should have fun but because America should never forget what happened that day. Also to honor those who passed away. That was the day the United States of America was insulted and no one should ever insult the United States of America.
