I'm looking at buying a new desktop with the $1000 economy money and I'm willing to put in an extra $300. I found a nice desktop, but i'm not a braniac with all this tech stuff. Here is the specification of the Acer Aspire L3600:

Processor: Intel Core 2Duo E4600 2.4 GHz

Memory: 2GB SODIMM 667MHz (2x 1GB 677MHz)

Hard Drive: 500GB 7200rpm SATA

Optical Drive: Slim DVD SuperMulti

Video: UMA

That was all the information I could get. I'm not a hardcore gamer, I only use the computer for the internet and to play Simcity, and The Sims 2. I am buying a new computer because of the requirements of The Sims 3 and another game, but mainly Sims 3. The computer seems to match the system requirements and I think its a great deal at $1300.

I would like to know your thoughts about this computer. Will it be a good buy? I will be using it for a few years so I want to make my purchase well worth it.
