Sony has the long-time console experience so if they say next gen doesn't start until they release their product, then I'm with that.
PS3 IS a supercomputer. It computes and it's super. What more do you want, god.
PS3 IS capable of 4D graphics. Height, width, volume and sexiness. The PS3 itself is pretty much a decor for your room. I would consider getting PS3 wallpaper for my room.
360 has a larger game library, largely due to the fact that it got a year's head start. The 360 also has the worst game lineup of all 3 systems for 2008. Also, it requires an 8$ fee per month to play the online portion. Also look into red ring of death and 360 disk scratching
PS3 on the other hand has about an average game library, largely due to the fact that it's only a year old and it's using a new processor type called the cell. It has the best game lineup of 2008 and requires no monthly fees ever.
They're quite identical. Remember that the PS3 came out a year later so they got to see X360's technology before releasing. My bet is that the PS3 is around 2% better. That's a terrible guess but I think it's proper to guess that it's very minorly better overall hardware-wise.
It's just propoganda. PS3 is doing better than average in terms of console sales past and present. It'll only get better while the 360 will only get worse. I am patient so I prefer later rather than now.
Honestly, why is it after it has come up that Madden 08 has better frame rates on 360 than PS3 that everyone asks about frame rates? It was never a consern before, why make it one now? Shacks210
Madden 07 for Xbox360 last year was the same. Developers are still working out the new cell technology of the PS3. Next year, Madden will MORE than likely be fine. I know it sucks... I wanted Madden really bad. Just tough it out.
You're never too soon to push technology. If man can move farther I say do it. They are making blu-ray and HD prices drop as well as making them more popular. Props to Sony for taking the chance.

True. I already got a PS3 so it wasn't exactly going to keep me from buying one. However, I do see it possibly keeping people from wanting to buy one. Either way I googled it and it's not true.
