the love triangle of FFVII has always been the most debated issue in the whole FF universe. the isnt an exact answer to it. but if we look at most of square-enix game, we could see that there are alot of referrance regarding cloud n aerith. games such as FF tactics, Parasite Eve II, the Kingdom Hearts series n FFIX made referrance or probably paying homage to these 2 characters. maybe square-enix is trying to point out something we may never be sure.
however fantasy_gamer, in response to ur statement that aerith doesnt love cloud, it is proven in the novella 'The Maiden who Travels the Planet' (which translation can be found here) in FFVII Ultimania Guide that aerith does in fact have feelings over cloud.
although throughout the game we could see that tifa has shown her obvious feelings towards cloud but cloud's reaction suggest otherwise. regarding the scene in FFVII:AC where tifa is shown wif a ring, well if u watched closely, barret also wears the same ring when he reaches out his hand to catapult cloud to do battle wif bahamut shin. again, it could be anything. also nomura has said once b4, the love triangle in FFVII is open to interpretation. it could be tifa n it could be aerith. there wont be an exact answer to it.
Aerith is a classic white mage whereas Yuna was a white mage in FFX n coupled wif her ultimate weapon + holy combo.. hands down she would win. Keep in mind the fact she is a gunner in FFX-2 makes her even more powerful than Aerith.
1. final fantasy X-2.. the whole thing is just ridiculous. FFX's ending was, eventhough sad, spectacular enough.. y ruin it? 2. the chocobo related games.. they are uninspiring n unoriginal. wat do SE expect from these overgrown birds? become an icon like mario?
I have beaten FF7, 8, and 9. it was pretty fun, but FF8 has low replay value, I have it, but I don't fell like beating it again. Unlike FF7 and 9, they're pretty good games. I've played through them at least 3-4 times at least.Cloud2145
*gasp* i enjoy replaying FF8 than FF7 (although i'm playing it rite now juz to understand advent children better).. FF9 bores me to death
