If I know it, surely you know it! Is anyone there or is this just an ad hitbox?

I've always been able to view the site and play the Video Reviews on my Motorola Xoom tablet running HC 3.1 with Flash 10.3.

For the past few days, I've not been able to view the flash content. Just says you must have flash 10.3.

No problems on any other sites. Flash just works. So it's Gamespot's problem. Until it's fixed I will not visit the site on my tablet. I will have to go to that other site (I know that will really hurt).

I got one at Fry's for $99. Was marked $129 otherwise.

Since I haven't compared it with other wheels my comments should be considered for what they are. But I really enjoy the wheel along with GT5. Can't imagine running through this deep game without a wheel.

The wheel isn't 100% believable to me as far as the real thing but it's good. As for the center being dead, I have payed attention to this and very slight movements of the wheel are transmitted to the game. I was surprised how sensitive it is. Once I discovered this, I learned that I could use a little more finesse while the wheel is centered to get better results. I was being a little ham fisted.

Been thinking of picking it up, but wondered what people think who have it, Also is it accurate and tight feeling? Is there a deadzone in the middle where it feels loose? or is every little move picked up?

worth getting?

Video service available now? Help me find it.

Honestly I thought Sony did a pretty good job

- video service available now and you can actually buy the movies

- GOD OF WAR III

-80 gig for $399

- LBP looks better than ever

- MAG looks like it could be the best game ever lol

- lots of new PSN titels including R&C for just $.99

- Infamous got shown off a little more

- Resistance 2 looks FANTASTIC

- and a little bit about home

all that and more was great, but there were a few more stops I'd have liked to see pulled out

As others have said, get an HDMI cable asap. Don't wait and don't buy one at retail. You will overpay dearly. AND DON'T BUY ONE FOR $80. Fight the madness.

I haven't used monoprice.com but I plan to. They are mentioned frequently as a good place to get hdmi cables. You can get a cable there for approximately $4 to $9depending on length. Don't even pay $35 for one.

Just read the Nascar 09 review on ign. The reviewer said when comparing the PS3 version with the 360 version, "experienced graphics issues on the PS3 version that were not as noticeable on the 360 version". This is not a direct quote, read it yourself for that, but you get the point.

I like when reviewers make the comparison. Having both next-gen consoles, I want to know which platform is better for a particular title.

Still, loving the PS3 though. It's the one I would recommend to friends today, on balance. It's the one I will be buying as a gift for my Nephew's 16th birthday come September.

PS3 occasionally trails in graphics and online play. I say occasionally, because there are titles on PS3 that demonstrate what is possible. Thinking MGS4 and GT5.

Keep in mind we are talking about minute differences in most cases where there is a difference. If I could only choose one it would be PS3. So, if any criticism of your chosen console hurts your feelings. Relax we are nitpicking. I understand how after dropping this much cash one can get attached to the gear. I do as well.

Of the titles I have on both platforms (RSV2, COD4) you will not notice a difference in enjoyment concerning gameplay. As mentioned before RSV2 is *slightly* slower on PS3. But not enough to harm the end result: gameplay. I haven't noticed any difference between COD4 on the two platforms. Keep in mind I'm not doing side by sides *looking* for differences. In the case of RSV2 it was noticeable without much effort.

Developers should be rewarded when they do the job right.

Thanks for tolerating my opinion. Enjoy.

I'm sure the last thing everyone here needs is another newb's opinion. But hey, good sales means lots of newbs right? And right now PS3 is on a roll.

Been using a 360since a few months after that console's launch. I took the opportunity of Blu-Ray's victory as anexcuse to buy a PS3.

My opinion after a couple of weeks:

Hardware: Winner = PS3 Game Performance: Winner = 360

The PS3 hardware feels and looks like a $400+ device. Seems like a high-end piece of equipment. Watching a blu-ray movie confirms this. The love affair has begun. Compare this to the cheap looking and shortcut riddled 360 and look and feel goes to PS3. Quieter too.

Controller - getting used to dualshock. Prefer the weight of 360 controller. Tactile feel of the dualshock is certainly nice.

PS3 DVD Drive - No tray, quiet, blu-ray!

PS3 - No power brick

PS3 - Not ugly

PS3 - User upgradeable hard drive!

So far I much prefer the PS3 to the 360 except as a game console.

Programming the PS3 to utilize it's power requires more effort apparently. Many early multi-platform titles were poor ports that didn't take advantage of the PS3 hardware.

So, here we are more than a year after launch and too many reviewsstillsay something like"gameplay is identical between 360 and PS3. There is a little slowdown on the PS3 version however". And this is on new 2008 releases. Of course MGS4 looks mind blowing and shows what is possible. Wish this were the norm. GT5 looks beautiful. COD4 is not bad either.

Comparing RSV2 on my 360 and PS3 from identical locations in the game, the PS3 has lower frame rates at times. Not all the time and not enough to affect game play.

My only disappointment so far: How much longer will we have to wait before a higher percentage of titles feel like they are running on the most powerful console? Instead of a port?

Today I bought GTA4 for the PS3. So, you can see how I'm voting with my wallet. Ready for software that takes advantage of the hardware. How long will it take? Are dual platform games doomed to be poor ports? Will PS3 exclusives be the only ones to take advantage of the hardware?

Loving my PS3. Thanks for listening.
