Witcher 3 is a 100% singleplayer game, so is Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Guess what? They have sold better than just about anything on the market that isn't GTAV. You need to know how to do a singleplayer game, if its 100% singleplayer it should be massive like a giant RPG. It can also have other elements like multiplayer to make people keep coming back. GTAV is a great example of this. Nintendo is another example that always does great single games which nobody has any issue buying, because you can easily put 50+ hours into all of them. Games like Resident Evil or Tomb Raider is more of a relic of the past though sadly. They cant be long enough to last 100% singleplayer and multiplayer just doesn't fit in that type of game. This is sad, since some of my favorite games are exactly this and i usually buy them, but these types of games, either has to be reduced in price, like Hellblade did or offer something else like free DLC or multiplayer to keep people playing else its really hard to sustain them. But singleplayer done right will never go anywhere.
@cainetao11: If you already have a xbox and you're "short on money" those $500 are better spent elsewhere. PS4, Switch, upgrade your PC, save for a rainy day you name it, do not spend $500 on a console you already have if you're short on money.
There is a Bobblehead toy in the game... It was the first i found, i didn't find the Dog or the Mug, but everything else i found including the Corvo mask from Dishonored.
Really, Dark Souls? REALLY? DSFIX was released literally day and day with the game and it fixes everything 100% unless you wanted to play with keyboard.
The prepare to die edition would probably be on a opposite list for me, best PC ports.
CRPGS are games like Fallout 1, 2, Baldurs Gate and the recently released and excellent Pillars of Eternity. This game and its predecessor has some of the same elements but the combat is completely different (more like a Japanese tactical RPG making it a CRPG + TRPG hybrid.
@ecurl143: Switch will pass Xbox one sales life time sales easy. Both in hardware and in software. PS4, probably not, but its most likely gonna make Nintendo more money than Sony made of PS4.
@gamingdevil800: PSP was good thats why. Reason why vita failed is because Sony took many missteps. Expensive memory card, no HDMI port, not enough unique software, just software that was also on PS3/PS4. I bought a PSP over a DS and when 3DS was announced i said to myself "i probably buy a Vita" but when they announced it, i was like i guess i skip on this as well. I love handhelds, my commute to work is 40 min, so i have a lot of time every day to do this stuff. Phone is fine, but i usually have a tablet or a book with me. Now days its usually the Switch.
