Why is a melee weapon better than Mantis blades? The slot for mantis blades can only have weapons, so if you're speced for blades why not use Mantis blades? I used this on my reflex build and you get a free pair of legendary mantis blades from one of the cyber psychos and imo they are the best melee weapon in the game with those jumps from charge attacks.
@rekonym: Witcher came out in 2015 so "only" 5 years. And they have had games in between there, like Witcher tales and Gwent. Also when you're a publisher you don't need to ship your own games, see valve for example. CDPR is (or was) bigger than Ubisoft, making them the biggest non US game company outside of Sony, Nintendo and Square-Enix.
@joalopes: PS4 and Xbox version of Andromeda worked much better than they do here and that includes Xbox one X and PS4 pro, there where no next gen versions of Andromeda. But i agree that this game on PC is much more polished than Andromeda was at launch. PC version doesn't need a re release and all the updates will be free. They will even throw in a PS5 and Series X version of the Witcher 3 for free.
Personally i don't think there was anything they could have done here its a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. The best thing would probably have been to delay it until next year and release it as a PS5 and Series X game day one. Then maybe later down the line release a PS4 and Xbox version cheaper and admit that they where bad. But if the delayed again people would probably complained even more. And us PC players actually got a good game to play so there is that.
@reznik00: PS4 games in Europe are more expensive digital than physical. How is it a good deal? It seems that PS5 games will cost the same both physical and digital, but it still doesn't change the fact that most people in Europe has a stack of physical PS4 games as they are cheaper. And if its the same for this console, then once you bought 10 games you already made back your investment... And lets face it saving €100 on such an expensive machine, to have less options is never worth it tbh. And what if you have data caps with such a small drive? Gonna download 500gb worth of games every month?
Also a digital game has no value after you bought it. For example i bought red dead redemption 2 back in 2018 played it for like 40 hours, didn't like it sold it for €5 less than i paid for it. If i bought it digital, i would not only pay €10 more. I would also be stuck with a game i didn't like.
And how is gamepass anti-consumer? You can argue that streaming services are anti-developer as for example with Spotify the creators gets like no money at all. But Netflix and and most video streaming services are good, cause most content is first party which means they lose nothing to put their own stuff on there and for the 3rd party stuff its timed deals so the developer gets money up front which means most companies makes more to put their content on there. Gamepass has the same model, and either way its not anti-consumer in any way. Since you can still always just buy it and you actually get it cheaper if you have gamepass...
@tsunami2311: But disc games takes the same amount of space... Why don't people understand this. They don't on Switch since it uses a fast medium. But on PS4 and Xbox one digital and physical games take the same amount of space since the disc drive is a much slower medium than a HDD. And PS5 has a lightning fast drive, probably 100 times faster than disc drive...
@JamesHetfield89: I don't get it. You got hacked and you are not able to get your account back or what? Cause that makes no sense. My friend got hacked on PS4. They used his credit card to buy Fifa points for like $800 or something like that. He got all that money back (from his bank) as he could prove it was fraud, since the card was charged in India i think and he hadn't been anywhere near there. And Sony was able to restore his password which had been swapped as he did not have 2 step activation for some reason.
I am so sorry to hear what happened to you losing your account must be the worst thing that can happen in gaming. My friend did lose his wow account a few years ago. Because it got hacked and used for botting. If you use bot blizzard will perma ban you. It was one thing if he was botting, but he account was hacked and botting... This was like 10 years ago, he is still salty over it today as he has spent thousands of hours in wow.
I live in Sweden and while PS5 game prices currently is crazy i hope the dust settles soon if not no version is worth it. Cause on the PS4 games cost 629-699kr digitally, wheres physically they are 599. So i never buy digital games unless they are on sale. But so far both digital and physical PS5 games will be 899 which is absurd, that is over $100. 799 i would be fine with but why 899? So hopefully physical games will be better priced like they are on PS4 or i am not getting a PS5. Cause i can get the same games on PC for 599. Why pay 200 more? Sure there are some exclusives, but if they charge that much i think i can live without.
Also if you owned a PS4 and have physical games you should just get a regular PS5. And even if you didn't own a PS4 you can get a lot of PS4 games physically really cheap and play them on your PS5 so the digital imo is not worth it unless playstation offers a subscription like the Xbox. I know PS now is a thing, but currently its not good enough, i don't except the first party games to be there day and date, but what about 3-6 months later? And never remove first party games from there once they are added.
