Watch out for the defective controllers. i had at least 4 defective controllers. i think 4 of them were dualshock 3. And after couple months analog stick or r2 button gets loose. so you need to go buy a new one. They need to make better controllers. but i think they wont,, cause they make money from it.

are u kiddin me? i had my ps3 since 2006 and my dual shock 3 since the day it came out, have 3 of them actually, use 2 of them very frequently and they are both holding up fine. i dont know wat the hell ur doin with ur controllers. and also 4 defective ones damn, now thats bad luck but ur other comment about the analogs and r2 l2, is false unless YOUR the one causing the damages.

Yes, defective controllers were bad luck. But let me see you play call of duty or killzone and use r3 button to run. you will see the difference in couple months. Same as r2. i heard lots of people had the same problem. Sometimes it depends what kind of games you are playing. Oh plus those plastic caps on analog stick gets ripped after a while. That's true too..

The only way to keep those saves is to completely back-up the entire hard drive on an external hard drive. If you pick the files that are save protected singularly then they cannot be copied.

Also, the reason that those games are save proteccted is because they have unique multiplayer data.

Oh no wonder KZ2 and Fat Princess wouldnt copy.

Yes killzone 2 and street fighter 4 wouldnt copy.

I think that is pointless..I mean what if something happens to your save data? We should be allowedto copy the save data as a back up. I hope they dont do this new rule for all the upcoming games. that sucks..

The other day i wanted to copy the save data of killzone and street fighter to my memory card as a back up. But it said copying this save data is not allowed. It is the first time im seeing this message. Is anyone else getting it? So what if we were to sell our old system and get a new one. Do we need to wait to finish the games. How are we going to copy the transfer file to other system?

I had a white one i had to return it because it was pressing 2 buttons by itself. Then i bought a silver 2 months ago. After a month it was pressing right button and x button by itself once in a while tho. But it really effects when you play sports games like soccer. So i had to use my other controller for it. the black ones are ok but they get old pre fast. L3 button plus the plastic gets ripped. But it is not defected like white and silver one. Probably i got unlucky for those ones. But I will try to use wired ps2 controllers and see how they work on ps3.
