@madrocketeer: 1. It's not about goving a free pass. It's about fact that it is impossible to have any good end game at launch. No mom game has good end game at launch because it's impossible to do so. It would mean cuting content for players to do on game till later which would make the main game much weaker.
I'm saying scoring games like this at launch is flawed in the first place.
2.dude. I know it's a bioware game. But I also understand genres. Based on the genre it's not possible for this to be a good a story like other bioware games. This is not an rpg where play a role in dialogue heavy story. This is a looter shooter were you fight monsters and explore.
If you want story play an rpg or game that can stop and focus on it.
3. This we have to strongly disagree. Destiny 1 barely had a story and survied only based on gum play. Warframe you literally had to play 10 to 30 hours of gameplay just get the story. And in those 10 to 30 hours you literally have no motive or direction to what to do out side the tutorial levels which are not that engaging in the first place. You have to look up online tutorials from fans to know what to do or find a goal. Your only draw in the game in the first 10 to 30 hours is gameplay, getting loot, and building frames and new weapons. And that is the only draw you have till you focus on getting to the aecond dream.
Sorry but all mom looter shooters have that issue.
