Some pumpkin carving tips I've used. If you have a design in mind, you can draw it out on paper first. Then, either tape or pin your paper design on the pumpkin (this can be a little tricky but make sure your design is solid against the pumpkin so it doesn't move around). Now, take a toothpick and use it to push through your design and pumpkin following the outline of your design. Once you have gone around your design with the toothpick, you can take the paper off and use the holes in the pumpkin as a guide where to cut. Cut out your design and you're done!
