my understanding of that FAQ is still saying that you need a digital receiver with the right decoder (for the Wii it's Dolby Pro Logic II, but any one you buy now will come with 5.1 Digital Surround or higher). Do you have a digital receiver?
Besides with only 2 speakers you aren't getting surround, it's jut putting the 4 channels of sound and they're coming out of 2 speakers.

i dont have digital receiver yet..
- but umm.. what if i buy a Speaker (let's say a 5.1 speakers) and it has Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro Logic II logo on its box.. does that mean i dont need to buy a digital receiver?
- can that speaker (with Dolby Logos) can give/use/feel the Surround sound for wii?
- can i find a speaker (5.1) like that at around 300-400$ or 500-600$?
umm Brave Story: new traveler... good RPG great Graphics..
and i dont know.. why Monster Hunter games are rated low here at gamespot.. but still its a good game ^^
You need a reciever or a TV that supports Dolby Pro Logic II to use the Wii's surround sound.aransom
but i wonder.. why in dolby FAQs site... they said i can use a regular stereo speakers?..

can someone still confirm or enlighten me on this one..
thanks for the reply.. still waiting for more opinions about this ^^,
but really thanks for the replies ! ^^
question:
1. can i use NORMAL Stereo Speakers and set my Sound Setting on Wii on Surround? (just plain 2 speakers/a pair of sony speakers)
2. should my normal TV speakers or Normal Speakers should be set to Surround too? or its okay JUST to set it on my Wii?
3. if i can use it (coz if i switch it on surround on wii i can still here it right? ^^ yeah and i tried it already =p) will i lose some parts of the sound? i mean i will not hear some of the sound effects or something?
4. can i still feel the Surround Sound even im using my Normal Television Speakers/Normal Stereo Speakers? (the normal speakers i mean is a VERY old Sony Cassette and CD Player but its BIG ^^)
