Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3 and World of Warcraft.

After a red ring of death mishap with my old X-Box, I ended up buying a new 360 Arcade altogether. To kick things off I loaded up a game that seemed to have been taunting me ever since my old 360 bit the dust, Fallout 3. Needless to say that didn't last long. Im sure Fallout 3 is a great game and I'm not going to say that my first impression wasn't a great one. But this may be one game that I may need to look at a walkthrough to understand, which I absolutely hate doing. I just cant understand where to go after you escape the vault, which had I not accidently ran into a few things, I would have never been able to do. I dont know, maybe I just need a boost in the right direction. I'll look at a strategy guide or something and see where it goes from there.

Arkham Asylum on the other hand has been amazing so far. I actually expected to be very disappointed. In act at the beginning I was. I though, "oh god, here comes another superhero button masher", like Ultimate Alliance was. I don't know what it is about superhero games and button mashing. But then things started kicking off. Soon enough I was sneaking up behind enemy snipers and taking them down like I was playing Metal Gear Solid, coming up with unique strategies to either take out enemies or saving characters from poisenous gas. The Scarecrow part felt kinda like Resident Evil for a second or two. I actually freaked out a little. Granted my buddy was smoking a little herb and I may have got a contact high. I figured by the time I killed Bain the game was almost over already, but after reading a little online about the game, I realized I'm still practically at the beginning. I like that. This game might actually last me for more then a few days.

On that note, some sad news for my Warcraft buddies, I decided against renewing my subscription to the game this month and I dont feel the littlest hesitation. To be quite honest, I dont think I'll be renewing it when Cataclysm comes out either. The game has become very boring and repetative to me. The more I play it, the more I think of other things I could be doing like cleaning my house or playing x-box. Even solo playing guitar hero seemed like a funner idea to me then flying around Shalozar Basin looking for gold or doing the same dungeon that I have already done 500,000 times in the past for a badge or two. It's just not worth it to me much anymore.
