I'm still glad it outsells something like GTA, since I personally believe it helps kids develop reading skills and several concepts throughout life, like weighing pros and cons, following instructions, and solving puzzles on their own.
This is probably the main reason Nintendo will always dominate the handheld market. I mean, 1 million copies in 5 days in the US alone? I guess it's a little unfair that people buy both versions, but it takes at least a month for a well reviewed game like Zelda to sell that many copies. I have a feeling my brother bought one because everyone else did.
NIntendo has always report their mistakes and tries to fix them. They try to fix anything that is wrong. If your Nintendo console's broken, they fix it pretty much right away. Their customer service is the best I've seen, unlike Sony (PSP and malfunctioning square button is part of the design, tons of disc read errors that make people repurchase a PS2).
