Most anticipated: Dexter.

So me and my bf saw Pirates 3 last night. I have two thoughts about it that more or less covers what I think about it:
1) It was entertaining
2) Orlando Bloom is too hot for his own good

... yes, I'm probably old enough not to go all fan-girl like that, but I'm not even kidding. I don't know what it is about the long, dark, curly hair that makes me go all tingly. *girly giggle*

Anyway, I'm not in the mood to put any spoilers, really. It's enough to say that I enjoyed the film, even if it's not the best movie I've ever seen.

Season finale season always depresses me. I know there'll be no new episodes of my favourite shows to look forward to until after the summer, and that always gets me down. Having dinner in front of the TV with my boyfriend and watching a new episode of Lost/Heroes/Desperate Housewives/... is a highlight of both our days.

I will manage, I know - I always do. Though having taken up more shows this season than any other I have a feeling that my withdrawal will be worse this time around. Heroes and House most notably - but Entourage has made it into our household aswell this season.

I think it's evil that all shows end at roughly the same time. If they overlapped over the year, it wouldn't be as difficult. Stupid ratings dictate everything, don't they?

Will Dexter be back this autumn, I wonder. I really hope so. A second season is rumoured and quasi-confirmed, but I'm not holding my breath. That ended in December, technically, but watched it all in March, I think - all in one go.

So I've got a banner!

It really was a quick job putting together, but it looks spiffy,
doesn't it? The artist is the very talented Audrey Kawasaki.
I'm hoping that me using it here will be more flattering than
anything else. :) Anyway, I thought I'd get one, since it looks
prettier than a black banner.

A bit about me

I'm not really that interesting, but I do watch a lot of TV.
Usually I just end up shouting at the tv, but I figured an
active profile on tv.com might be more productive.
Aside from watch TV, I study English and Religious Studies
at University here in Sweden. When I'm done (whenever that
is), I'll be a teacher. I'm 23 years old, and I live with my
boyfriend and our two cats in a nice two-
bedroom flat (with a garden, no less) in a residential
area close to campus.
I tend to watch a lot of movies, along with watching a lot
of tv - it sort of comes with the territory, and I have been
caught calling at least six different movies "my all time
favourite movie ever ever". I am very fickle.
I enjoy reading, blogging, scrapbooking, cooking, meeting
friends, lazying about and eating ice cream in the sun. :)

 

That's about all I have the energy to write today,
but I'm sure that won't last long...
