3 million sold but how many have been traded in? my local blockbuster has a shelf of them in the used section on offer at 19.99!

i dont think anyone expected a great single player game, like the other big shooters these days(halo cod killzone) its all about the multiplayer and that was broken!

the best single player shooter in recent times has probably been metroid prime3

wii has crud mainly novelty party games but these critisized games were made to play with groups of friends or family any one who has played these games will have probably had fun with their friends but alone they can be dull and pointless a bit like legendary or gears 2 multiplayer i think the point here is some party games can be poor ie deca sports while others ie rayman ,wario, can be great.same with shooters -good ie cod halo killzone gears1 and bad- legendary haze fracture gears 2 . remember playstation and xbox are now starting to see some poor party games -your in the movies lips buzz eye toy will these machines still be hardcore when we start seeing more of these on them?

i own a 360 and i agree it has a big libary - But the majority are shooters not a great variety.

Now a list of machines with a massive and diverse libary-

atari 2600, commodore 64 , zx spectrum,amiga,nes,master system,game boy,snes ,mega drive,ps1 ,ps2 and ds.

i did own gears 2 but after 2 weeks of playing multiplayer and waiting for match making i traded it against cod waw- the multiplayer is great, zombie mode great and you will always find a multiplayer game! . although both have short single player games

Ok, new abilities and tracks and graphics, but, its essentially the same game re-released with new content.

right so halo 3 was not halo 2 without new maps and content just like gears 2 will not be just a glorified map pack?????

the reason it sells well is cos it has some of the best games this gen. i own 360 and wii the 360 is great for online shooters,but the wii for all its party games and novelty also has games that you can get stuck into! such as metroid, zelda,no more heroes,galaxy and some new stuff coming out like mushroom men , disaster day of crisis and mad world.(bet someone now fires off a list of 360 sequels to answer this):roll:
