What the actual pluck

I've picked up Starbound because everyone and their oka-san was telling me it's the caca. Well, it kind of is.

While it's boring as hell if you don't play it with a friend (unless you REALLY like mining through a bunch of bs and building), once it starts to pick up and you have invited a few friends, it's a fun time.

I...Who am I kidding? I can't handle this new site right now

burning my retinas

where's the black out button

someone, help

My wii is broken.

The ultimate in sadness consumes me.

What's that? The wii sucked anyways? No! No it didn't! No other game system had you flailing about so desperately, trying to fight sun rays and lamp lights for that complex laser fight surgery. No other game had you drawing in the sky for a shewolf or really flamboyant male wolf whose steps invoke flowers. No other game had me hoeing stuff and bringing onions to women with my own TWO HANDS.

Okay, so that's a little dramatic and stuff but the point is that my wii is broken and I don't have the money for a new one. The warranty is dead which makes me absolutely certain that people time the warranties to expire JUST BEFORE your system breaks down.

Well, it's not that I don't have the money. I have the money but it's money for other things. You know, like TEra online when it comes out and upgrading my shoddy computer to play it.

Speaking of Tera Online, have you seen Elins? If you haven't, allow me to clue you in.

Bunnehz

There's one! Isn't it adorable? Anyway, there's this huge debate going on about how they look like children blah blah pedobait blah blah blah pedophiles blah blah fap fap fap.

Personally, that thing looks nothing like a child to me.It looks like some tiny little bunny woman with a disturbingly perfect figure (but that always happens in games like that, doesn't it?)

Anyway, the guys over at En Masse were all: "DONT WORRY, WE GOT THIS."

And they added stockings.

...

Isn't there a fetish site for that somewhere? I'm pretty sure that's just adding to the childish appeal if there was any and making it blatantly kinkier.

Good job, En Masse.

....Sht what was I talking about? How did I move on to stockings on little bunny women? Wow, I have a short attention span.

I get the strangest feeling I'm being followed.

You know, like in Which or Amnesia...

You're walking along minding your own business, kicking over chairs and trying to set things on fire only to realize everything in the house is fireproof when you decide to have a rest.

So, naturally, you stop walking.

But there are still footsteps. Seeing how that's just about the loudest thing in the game, it doesn't go unnoticed. You do a little one-spot dance thinking maybe your legs have moved on without you as though real life glitched, but no. You're hearing footsteps and you're not moving.

It's pretty creepy. I'm not sure where I was going with that, but I didn't like it. On another note, I'm pretty sure I actually am being followed. Sniss off, you. Geez, why did I ever let you know this name? :c STALKER.

Vindictus...Why aren't thou's release date today?

So, it's two days until the Vindictus (already out and also known as Mabinogi Heroes) Closed Beta test. It only lasts until Aug. 28th, but the Open Beta starts about four days after. My memory is sketchy, but it wasn't longer than that. I've been accepted, yeah. I'm pretty sure the selection may have been somewhat random, or that they mainly looked for computer specs. Whatever it is, I'm in and I have to wait two more days to test this baby out. Oh, yes. I suppose I should mention it's not a subscription game. It's free to play, though it will probably have a cash shop. We can only hope Nexon isn't silly with what they put in there. It really looks like something that will set itself apart from the normal games. For one thing, it's finally an action RPG as far as they go. Mabinogi was ...somewhat. I mean, it was select the skill then click the ground or whatever, but it was still...action. That game honestly did come off as boring, come to think of it. The community was supposed to be the main lure of that game, but I never really got into that either. Honestly, it just wasn't my type of game. Vindictus ... I can't even begin to describe it. For one thing, the graphics look really well done. From the subtle animation of hair to the excessive detail on every weapon (did I mention they have enormous scythes? They do!) and clothing, the relatively large amount of customization you can do, the active dungeons with great cutscenes and a story to match, everything! To delve more into customization, your characters are basically premade. Yes, there's a gender lock, but you can customize your character's face, skin color, and hair style / color. No matter which you choose, your character will still come out looking like it knows its sexy (same weight, general look), so it's no Aion when it comes to that. Still, it's good they did give you some options because it'd be a pain in the arse to see yourself everywhere. (I don't doubt there will be hundreds of girls with the same look, though.) Aside from that, there's weapon and armor customization. You can craft your weapons (whether you're wanting a scythe, sword, magic rod, whatever) and armor before dyeing it whatever colour you fancy. At least, that's what it seemed like in weapon customization videos. As far as gameplay goes, it doesn't look to be a seamless world. There was a dungeon screen shown, so I'm assuming there's a main town and then upon entry of the dungeon you're given the chance to assemble your party and head on in. I haven't played it myself, so I can't be sure. In the dungeons, there appear to be cutscenes giving you a bit of story before actual gameplay - where players have been seen creating campfires and sitting around to regenerate, picking up random objects in their environment such as barrels and hurling them at enemies, and setting off traps such as a large chain to trap boss monsters and have at them. There's a stamina system which controls just about how much of this you can do, and item use is rather active in the sense that if you're trying to drink a potion while a monster is slapping you around - you're probably going to spill a good bit of it. As is to be expected, you can't exactly carry around an enormous boulder or some such for very long. If you don't get it off of you, it's likely to crush you and destroy a good amount of your hp. When it comes to NPCs, there are some cameos from the original Mabinogi such as Ferghus the (probably will break everything you own and laugh about it later) blacksmith, our goddess Nao (yes, me. Hahaha.), and that little neko cat thing whose purpose other than looking strange are unclear. I've seen a lot of standard crafting screens, though I've also read that you'll have the ability to tell your NPC friends to have at something then run off and do something else entirely while they slave away for you. Sounds good, because I've never been a fan of standing around watching a craft bar fill. I'll probably go back and edit this later, but something has come up so I must cut my rant short. Here are a few gameplay videos to quell your rage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrlbsB_9awo (Dungeon Gameplay) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROr-cSI2kp4 (Dungeon Gameplay) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQuUSNdHWt8 (Dungeon Gameplay) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnlPszI6NzM (Dungeon Gameplay...with a scythe.)

The World Ends With Me! :D

I just noticed that my rank is player. That's pretty much the best thing ever. I'm a womanizer and trapped in an alternate universe, huzzah! I'm going to go find Joshua, tell him that his effeminate ways piss me off, and kick his ass. Then I'll go steal Neku's headphones, pawn them, and buy some fabric for Shiki to show her I'm considerate only to snog and ditch her later for mindless droids constantly thinking about coffee and the salt in their french fries because I'm a player, bishes. Oh, and I'll have a british accent accompanied by a constant stream of witty dialogue that dazzles even men and the intellectually challenged such as Beat. I'll also discard proper grammar 'cause I don't care, I'M A PLAYER BISHES! ...** Edit: In the "recommended offers for you" ad, I was just recommended several apple products. I am deeply offended.

DOA..Wait, DA:O, but DoA is awesome, too.

Yay, Gamespot. Been here for years but I only just registered. Yaaay (some more). So anyways, I'll use this as a game lot though I already have backloggery for that - uh... Yeah, I probably won't even really do this lmao. Yeah, right now I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins. [innuendo] I don't normally touch RPGs like this - this is really a first for me. [/innuendo] snickersnicker. I started an elf mage because any other class just seems completely useless / a waste of time. You can recruit a thief to pick locks, a warrior to do warrior things, whatever. Mage is easy street - healing and really powerful. You can even freeze or set your party members on fire if you've had a bad day, yeys! http://i37.tinypic.com/28mg2vb.jpg There's man mage being a man mage. I've named him Elric or something horrid and unoriginal, I don't remember. I'm not sure how to post pics in on here so whatever @ that as well. So far I've betrayed whatshisface, killed a messenger elf for a sword I can't use (screw party members, they could fight with sticks for all I care), and came onto Morrigan. (more snickersnicker) At least, I'm trying to wow her with my evil and methodical dialogue choices. She's hotness. I will probably play the full game again just to be with Alistair...Alistairs...Alistaire... Alistar... Spaceman because he's adorable. On another note, I keep accidentally abbreviating this game as DoA so there's random people probably thinking I'm horribly outdated. I've got to say, that was a brilliant game. I'm thinking about booting it up now. Though - isn't there a volleyball game with the girls or something? ... Why would they be playing volleyball? I don't have the best memory, but I'm pretty sure most of their stories were about revenge and hatred or something. Didn't blondie #2's mother die in a fire or something? Yeah, forget about that though I feel like some recreational sports and being scantily clad - bouncing around for a bit. It won't bring my mother back or melt my frozen heart, but it makes me feel pretty. Don't we have Sexy Beach 3 for that? *coughcough*
