Well this was a release-day special only. Went to the Future Shop downtown before my classes and the guy said it was only applicable for yesterday (Oct 20th). Oh well, I'll just dig up a few games I don't play on my PS3 anymore nor would play in the future to get Borderlands at a cheaper price.

Screw you Canada for putting an additional $10 on every damn videogame that gets released! Mind you UNcharted 2 was tagged at $59.99 which I find odd. Is it priced as $49.99 in the States or something?

Those are all 100%, and since that is quite an amount of new games, I doubt I will be buying others since I won't be as dead set on getting them. Plus I think those 4 games will keep me plenty occupied with the little time I have for myself in between both school and work.

NHL09, Rock Band 2, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles.

I believe that this is the order of their release dates. Disgaea 3 is a maybe, not sure if I will go through with this purchase as I don't want to spend too much money on my PS3 as I have other things in life to pay for, sadly.:?

What it means is that if you purchase Warhawk now, you can technically get 10 trophies once the trophy patch comes (Aug 27th) based on if you meet the criteria for said trophies. Out of the total amount of trophies Warhawk is offering, 10 are retroactive (awarded based on what you have already achieved in the game). The rest of the trophies will have to be earned once the patch is released no matter what you have already achieved in the game beforehand.

Top Spin 3 is really the first 100% sim tennis game. If you liked the demo, then you will definitely enjoy the actual game.

It will take you a while to master the game, and even if you do, the CPU on very hard can still cause you fits. Career mode is well done, as well. It feels like you really are a pro. Online suffers from small lag, but once you get used to it, it's all good.

Definitely a game people who enjoy sports should get. Very good all around game and with the awesome create-a-player mode, you can create ridiculously life like counterparts of the real tennis pros; especially if their outfits are found in the game!

Anywhere between 1-5 games. The ones that I'm interested in are LBP, Civ Revolution, Tomb Raider, and NHL 08.

The retail prices are the same, it's our damn tax rate that is screwing us. Had our taxes be par with the US, we would be paying the same for video games.

Blame our government, not those who establish video game prices.

I have Hot Shots Golf 5 and it's very fun. Graphics are incredible and the new stroke system is also makes it a much more realistic golf game.

The new GTA, I'm sure, will be amazing as well. That alone should keep you very busy during summer for the solo career.

Still haven't gotten around to playing Folklore. PLayed the demo, but not the actual game yet; have only heard good things about it though.

If you have the means to do so, it might be in your best interest to buy a game that you can focus a long solo career with, and then another equally fun game, but one that you can play with your girlfriend.;)
