@psych32: Why lie? You can find it on YouTube in 5 seconds. LeBron James, said, in October 2019, that when he tweeted “FREE HONG KONG” “ [Daryl Moray] wasn't educated on the issue. ”
And that's only one example. He said something similar several times, including on camera calling Moray “misinformed” on the situation.
He said supporting the freedom of the Hong Kong people from the tyranny of the CCP, was an uneducated take.
Even while it was undeniable that the CCP was doing it. And while LeBron saw to benefit from dirty Chinese money.
Now are you going to keep lying about it? Or grow up and face the reality of it?
@psych32: He said, regarding the people reporting all the horrific stuff the CCP was doing in Hong Kong, that those people don't really know what they're talking about, and should go and actually see for themselves before they talk.
Basically he sold out the oppressed people of Hong Kong so he could stay in the good books of Xi Jinping.
That's a legitimate reason. Remember that next time he talks about oppression.
@mogan: I'm not going to explain the difference between a tattoo and a c-section scar to you.
They could've gone with facial disfiguration. That's more options. They could've gone with horrific burns. That's more options. They could've gone with more tattoos. That's more options.
They didn't do those. I'm not going to sit here and act like we don't both know why.
I actually kind of agree with his premise. It's a pretty stupid name, and I imagine it'd feel kind of annoying to a Japanese gamer. Imho, Japan's the centre of the game development universe. Not a genre.
But then again I also think “role-playing game” is a stupid name. You're playing the role of the guy whose task is to do what you're doing. In every game.
So I don't like the “J” or the “R” or the “P”. The “G” is OK though. That can stay.
@uninspiredcup: Hot Fuzz is, imho, one of the greatest films ever made, and I didn't even realise until last month that the supermarket owner, Simon Skinner, is none other than Tim Dalton, a.k.a. James Bond.
