My Current Wish List

I have a lot of games that I'm really looking forward to, so I decided to make a list of all of the games that I'm really looking forward to:

Rage- Probably the game that I'm most hyped for. Looks insane, I'm really hoping for more gameplay footage than the stuff shown off at QuakeCon...soon.

Doom IV- It's coming, I forget where I read it, but it was announced. Can't wait for this one (if it's true), it better be an extremely scary game...like way scary. I'm sure the graphics will be amazing.

Return To Castle Wolfentein- Can't wait! Great Series, id Software Rules!

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars- Insane multiplayer action!

Spore- Never seen a game quite as unique as Spore. Creating your own empire, your own creatures, it's pretty neat. I also am looking forward to the space travel aspect of it.

UMK- I was really hoping that Mortal Kombat would eventually be coming to the DS. I'm so glad that it is. It looks really great so far.

Dementium: The Ward-Finally, a scary game for the DS...hopefully. I'll be looking to get this one. I'm just hoping that as a first person shooter it handles well, is quite long, and hopefully scary.

Halo 3- Obviously. I'll be looking forward to the storyline in this game, see where it all goes. That'll be interesting. I hope the the multiplayer is just as good and better than Halo 2's. I just hope that they didn't add too many new items/features to make it not feel like the rest of theHalo series.

Call of Duty DS- As long as the graphics and Gameplay are solid, I'll probably consider getting this one.

Skate- The Tony Hawk series is going to have a little competition, and I really hope that Skate will be realistic game. I haven't really played a good realistic skating game yet.

Tony Hawks Proving Ground- On the other side, I've been playing the series since the first game on the N64, so I'm hoping that this will be good too.

PGR4- I enjoyed 2 and 3 a lot, now I'm really looking forward to the 4th one.Great series.

Madden NFL 08, NHL 08, NCAA Football 08

Fight Night Round 4? I hope :D

Just to name a few...

Pre-season Week 1: Cowboys Win! Beat out Colts 23-10!

With no Cowboy injuries, New Cowboys coach Phillips really showed his stuff, along with the Cowboy players as they took the Super Bowl Champions to Texas Stadium.

I'm really impressed with Marion Barber, who ran 48 yards for 12 carries. Thompson, Battle, and Jones all rushed as well. I really want to see more Barber this year. Jones is amazing, no doubt, but Barber has a ton of potential, he just really has to be worked in the preseason, and I hope to see him played a lot more in the season into the playoffs.

The Cowboys were easily able to handle Colts QB Peyton Manning, forcing a field goal.

I can't wait to see the Cowboys next week as they play the Denver Broncos at Texas Stadium, then the Cowboys will head to Relient Stadium to play the rivaled Texans, then they will head north to play the Vikings.

Stranglehold Demo

The Stranglehold demo just came out on Xbox Live, luckily I got to play it, and I'm telling you, this game looks so sweet! It plays great, the shooting is so well made, and the game really has a Matrix-like feel to it. There's a thing called a standoff where a number of enemies surround you, and you need to shoot them all down. This is doneMatrix style, as you shoot at them, yet try to dodge their bullets.

Being able to slide down stairways is crazy fun! Stranglehold is definately a game to look out for, the demo is sweet, longer than I expected it to be, so be sure to download it now. Quick!

QuakeCon 2007 Best. QuakeCon. Ever.

QuakeCon 2007 crept up on me so fast. I knew about id Tech 5, but I didn't think that the game itsself would be so sweet. Rage was announced just two days ago and itlooks amazing. id Software has raised the bar in gaming for sure. The FPS in-game gameplay looks so insane.

Rage is definately different looking than the other id Software games that have been made in the past. It's definately a step for id, a good step.Whenever id makes a game, it'll be good, hopefully, they'll keep that record.

As Tim Willits describes it, Rage will be about 60% FPS and the rest will be kind of like a driving aspect. My prediction is that Rage will come out in Q2/Q3 2008.

It's a lot to handle. Go id Software!

It's Over! E3 2007: Final Words

E3 2007 is now pretty well done. The downsized E3 proved to be quite a success...but, honestly, doesn't anyone miss the old E3? The big convention center, the 60,000 people, big booths, loud music, giant screens? It was a lot more fun to watch it at home with the old E3. I dunno, that's just what I think...

The Wrap-Up

The one reason why I thought that this E3 wasn't that exciting was because of the lack of huge game releases. I expected a lot more of the conference. Not too many real "wow" games this year. However, even though there were few major announcements, a few things like a slimmer PSP were shown...

Gamespot did, once again a great job of tracking down the show. Even though I didn't think it was as good as I thought it was going to be, there were still some neat games shown. A lot of DS games that I liked, and I definately like the looks of games like COD4, Madden NFL 08, NCAA Football 08, and more.

In the end, E3 2007 was a bit above average, now it's just the wait for E3 2008!

E3 Hopefuls

I just put in my list of E3 games that I'm hyped for, but here are my hopefuls

Dead Rising 2

I'm hoping that if a sequel is releaed that it'll be in a large town/city map.

Prey 2- The first Prey was different, and even though it wasn't all that innovative I still wouldn't mind hearing about a sequel.

GoW2- The game's official, I know, but I want to see some stuff from it. GoW2 is gonna be awesome...let's hope.

That's my hopeful list :D Enjoy the show!

E3 2007 Hyped Games List

Rock Band- Better be like Guitar Hero, but better!

Heavenly Sword- Looks like some sick swordplay...

Geometry Wars: Galaxies- Geometry Wars has been an awsome arcade game so far, can't wait for the next installment :D

NHL 08- Hopefully the game will be awesome with new features and graphics.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot- Looks so scary, kinda reminds me of good ol Doom III back then, the next installment should be insane.

Killzone 2- Pre-rendered trailer? Hopefully they won't make that mistake again. Still if it's kept kinda like the trailer was, it should be the PS3's 'A' game...

Tom Clancy's EndWar- A new series sounds good.

PGR4- Loved the seriessince PGR2 on the Xbox, hopefully this game will be really great.

GT5- Another racer that's had a great history. Should be sweet.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction- Let's see some brand new stuff in this series, it needs to be revamped.

UMK3- An awesome fighter comes to the 360 can't wait to see some footage from the showfloor.

Burnout Paradise- Another Burnout game sounds great, I think that the graphicsshould be mindblowing; let's hope.

Conan- The trailer that just came out of Cali looks insane.

LittleBigPlanet- Really innovative and it looks like it'll be a blast to play, can't wait to see more.

The Simpsons (working title)- Freeroamer! Please be a freeroamer!

Brain Age 2- More Brain Age may not be bad, we just need to see the voice/touch recognition fixed.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat- I know that this is the2nd MK game that I've listed, but it's comingout for DS! Yes!

And finally: MY MOST HYPED GAME FOR E3 2007!

Untitled id Software Project-I am so hyped for the game. J.C. made another masterpiece when he wrote the code for this puppy. No console announcements so far, just PC and Mac, which is fine.

I hope you guys all enjoy E3, thanks for reading! :D
