FFX HD, kinda exciting if you ask me.

Imagine those backgrounds that you've already seen before rendered in HD, it'll blow your mind off! Men, I can't wait to see those characters in HD! But, that also made me thinking. Is it necessary to remake the FFX in HD? I mean, it has decent graphics, decent gameplay, everything is decent what else can you improve? Exactly, there is no need for remake unless the console it were ported were old like FFVI, these games should've a remake, not those decent ones.

Just bought an ORIGINAL GAME entitled front mission 4. Disappointed or not?

It seems that I had trusted Square Enix THAT much that made me buy this game even though I'm not familiar in this series. At least, I have some background of it that this is a robot-mechanized rpg tactics-based system game. A tactical rpg like the final fantasy tactics's battle system. And this one was my first original ps2 game ever since because there are no available original games in my city and it happens that I came out of town to other places, so I might think this original game will be a souvenir for me and a remembrance as well(kinda sentimental eh?). Anyways, the reason I bought an original game are because: -a souvenir and a remembrance for my visitation to other cities(I've mentioned this earlier) -I was quite intrigued with the additional content and was curious of it. You can say it was more of an excitement takes place over me. And I was right, I had received a bonus content which is a manual guide for the game! -The quality comparison in terms of original ones from counterfeit ones and the behavior of ps2 console when playing the original ones. These are actually my reasons why I was tempted to buy an original game for myself(I almost forgot I had limited amount of allowance plus fear of shortage of money) that I had to spend my whole allowance for that game. But I'm afraid I have to go home also to play the game. :P Those are one of my happiest moments the moment I bought that original game in my life. LOLS, you could say that I'm very happy at achieving small things, but man it also serves as my inspiration to have bigger jobs and buy and buy lots of original games in the future. :D Anyways, when I first played the front mission 4, it seemed that I was at first, disappointed because i tried the game the moment I set foot in my house in 'bummed' state. You know what I mean? Yes, STRESS, duh. So the moment when my body recovers, I immediately played this game the second time due to the excitement, but it was not that entertaining for me. Maybe I just don't like the taste of it. A tactical mecha tactical-rpg doesn't match-up well in my opinion. They could've made it awesome by borrowing the Final Fantasy battle system but more precise if they have made use of the xenogears battle system which is a mecha rpg, but not in a tactical state which made me engaged with the game. But with front mission 4 I have mixed emotions. Well, so much for that excitement. . . . . . . . . . bottom line: satisfactory. :| ~image for my game: http://www.usedpokemongames.com/images/ps2/front_mission_4.jpg

Are the RPG games nowadays still taking up the right path?

I am really a BIG fan of an RPG games especially in the console games specifically Final Fantasy series. The coming of the current-generation consoles bring about a change of pace as well as in the RPG standards and elements. The most notable changes can be found on FFXIII where it makes a major leap when it comes to graphical aspects in Playstation 3. Include also it's battle system that have changed but still retained some of it's elements from the previous games. When you compare it with the previous games as for PS2 and in the time of PS1, the RPG elements are constantly changing from one generation to another. Making it fresh for the gamers starting from the previous generation down to the current gen where the graphics are all beautifully rendered and realistic to see. These changes are cannot be notice by the newcomers except when they try playing the games from the previous gen. Not all changes can be that great but change must be constant at all costs as for the technology was fast changing, it may also be implied with the RPG genres that we are playing today. But, are the changes that must be done, on the right path? Did it have a big impact in the gaming industry? Are the changes likable? That is, sometimes we don't have a choice but to accept the changes it made from time to time. In every changes there is always an addition as well as deduction for the elements in gameplay and in other aspects. The way story was told in every RPG games in the current gen is already a different story. It makes use of the graphical technology the system has to deliver it wonderfully. And with its detail and visuals, the story is very intriguing to follow making the RPG nowadays seemed to focus more on storytelling rather than boosting the gameplay elements of it. In the end its all up to the gamers on which they prefer to choose. conclusion: RPG are having its big lining curve towards its improvement.

I creep out playing Silent Hill 2 after ended it! @_@

Well, out from my expectations I got myself shut the hell outta me since I've played the game for almost a year. i didn't expect such a thing that I would be getting scared of the game since that I'm at least mature to be scared. But the opposite happened. It made my mind wander into the nothingness due to its 'disturbing atmosphere' especially when the time when I was gonna finish the entire game and I was on the climax. Believe me, it was one hell of an experience. Much as I expect from the Silent Hill series though. unlike the Fatal Frame series that's like trying to make myself scared but actually it was not that scary at all, but Silent Hill was on the different level. Long story short, it scares me. No joke. -__-
