What an awsome thread! Lots of good stories here and there... The one with the hotel one is scary and some other ones too...
Heres my experiance:
I was with some friend's at camp and that day we went for a trip to the middle of the camp lake. And their is this tomb their. With an angel like and a cross. And that is like at an island at the middle of the lake now... So we returned to the camp to go to bed. And they told us the story of the tomb.
It is this women hwo is completly differant from everyone. She dosn't like anyone and doesn't talk to anyone. Except this one man. He is a priest. And she listens to him sometimes. Sometimes he talks to her without actually beeing present. And the women is always to be alone in her house. One day the priest talks to her. He tells her to go kill an Ant. She goes outside and she does that. After that, he tells her to go kill a squirl. She goes outside and does that. Then, he tells her to go kill a dog. She goes outside and does that. All that time passes by and every time she kills an animal she groes to like it. And everybody sees her do it so she gets weirder and weirder by the minute. She gets used to killing animals and people seem to not want to be around her. One day someone heres her talking to herself in her house. The guy hwo heard her talking to herself goes to tell the priest about that. The next day, the priest goes to knock at her door. There is no reply. He knocks again. There is still nothing. Suddenly he heres something whisper. It is the voice of the old women talking to someone or something. Inside the house, the women is arguing with the priest hwo is telling her not to kill anymore animals. But, what she dosn't realizes is that the priest is at her door waiting for her to reply. She goes to the door anwsers it and the priest is there. He asks her if she was ok. She says yes yes and closes the door. Then, the priest decides to wait and see what happens inside the hous. Inside the house, the old women continues to argue... So the priest decides to knock again. The women opens the door and pulls the priest inside the house. That day, no one ever heard of the priest again. So they dicide to go kill the old women since she is the only one to have last seen him. They traveled to the middle of the lake to an island with the body where they burried it and put a tomb the shape of an angel and a cross. And since that day, people say that they can see the women's ghost there wandaring around the island. But that is only at midnight.
So then we are all creeped out at the story and they ask us if we wanted to go to the island and check the tomb once again. And we say yes. So we go there it is like midnight and we are all in canoe and it is completly dark out except for the moon and are flashlights. Finnally we arrive at the island and we get out of our canoe. We go check the tomb. It is still there. And we see nothing. Then i turn around and see this ghostly like women staring right at me. Then i screamed there it is!!! They all turned around and saw nothing. I was the only one to see it. And then I was completely freacked out. We decided to head back to the camp. Then i saw it once more at the camp. This time holding a head in her hand.(I think it was the priest.) And she smiled and disappeared. After that i did not sleep the hole night. And after the camp i swore to myself to never go backto that camp ever again!
