what is with all the bashing on this game. I enjoyed it. It had pretty cool weapons, gore, and at parts could scare you. Not to mention the graphics. The things that could of been a lot better was the online play and the story.
GTA IV turned out to be for me a good game at first but later on in the game it got boring and heres why. The weapons just were dull and basic and yes the cover system helped with gunfights but not to the level of great. In the other GTA's you could use flamethrowers, revolvers, Miniguns, Katanas, and chainsaws.
The next thing is the missions just were nothing new and mainly car chases that got very very boring.
The game also lacked in replay value I think because its missing the fun cheats and corny stuff like planes or customizing your own car and buying your own casino and stuff like that. This game was still fun but just not to the level I had with other GTA's.
