I wanted to like the first game, but if I remember correctly the controls were horseshit on the PC and I don't think you could rebind the keys so I gave up on it. It looked interesting, but not enough to where I wanted to fight with the controls more than I was fighting with the bad guys in game.

I think I still have my physical copy of the game....maybe. I'd have to dig through my collection to find out.

A while back I saw in the warehouse I work at an RGB headset. Think about that. The player wants flashing lights on his head. He can't see them.

I once had a headset from Pulsewave (I think that was the name of it, too lazy to look it up) 15+ years ago. I got them because I thought my daughter who was about 3 at the time would get a kick out of them. They had RGB on them and they would pulse with the bass in your headset. You could turn it off if you wanted, but she thought it funny to see the flashing colors on the headset.

That was also during the start of the phase I thought RGB was pretty cool looking, but after having a case with clear sides and LED fans, it got old real quick. I can't stand them anymore. Nice, plain, sleek looking - no flashing lights.

Not that I don't like seeing scantily clad women, I just wouldn't want them serving me anything in something like that that they wear for long periods of time.....picking wedgies all day and then handling stuff you consume. I'd rather not take the extra chances (they're already high enough just getting something to eat from a food establishment where they wear normal clothing) of getting e-coli.

I wouldn't call them comfort shows, I just rewatch them because they're great entertainment for me. Most shows coming out these days suck.

Futurama - I've probably been through the entire series a dozen times or more, minus the crappy Hulu episodes (sorry, they suck for numerous reasons so I don't count them as part of the series).

Psych

X-Files - just finished watching the series for the 5th or 6th time a few months ago, still amazing to watch

Simpsons - first 12 seasons, they turn into trash after that

Malcom in the Middle

...and a few others that I go back to from time to time.

I went on a kick of replaying some older games I had beat before and ones I hadn't beat, but finally got around to. These are physical copy games that I own, so it was a trick getting some of them to run on Windows 10. I didn't keep track of any newer games I've beat....see what I can remember:

  • Aragami 2
  • Dead Island 2
  • Generation Zero
  • Remnant 1 & 2

I'm sure I'm missing a couple.

Oh snap! A grocery store spending competition!

I was at the store last night and spent $103.63. This wasn't even a normal stop to the grocery store for me and my family, it was just a stop that I did for picking up bits and pieces for being able to make a couple of meals with some stuff I already had and stuff for lunches for work this week.

So far I'm winning!

Just looks like a bad hodgepodge of Monster Hunter (which I don't think is a very good game) and Horizon (which I think was an okay game) and Valheim (which I think is a great game). This one just looks like trash, though, or at least not to my liking.

Very nice.

Looking for more gaming power are you? Stepping up to a new GPU once Blackwell drops?

I don't understand why you're spreading false claims about how the PS5 Pro went on presale and is already sold out within seconds. This is not true. This presale was for the very limitedPS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition.

With that aside.....I know it's Australia and all, but holy crap that is expensive as hell.

Looking at what is included in the bundle and this is what I find:

set to include a PS5 Pro console with a 2TB SSD, one DualSense wireless controller, one DualSense Edge wireless controller and a DualSense Charging Station. It also comes with a Console Cover for use with the PS5's Disc Drive, but you'll need to buy the actual Disc Drive separately.

You get a PS5 console, 2 controllers, a charging station and a cover for the disc drive that you still have to buy separately.

AU prices:

  • PS5 Pro - $1,199 (this includes the basic controller)
  • DualSense Edge controller - $299
  • DualSense Charging Station - $49
  • Total cost = $1547

Difference in price when compared to the very limited 30th anniversary edition is $102.95. That $100 difference must be for the cover to the disc drive because the look of the anniversary edition and the normal PS5 Pro is very minimal and most likely cost next to nothing.

Consoles used to come with 2 controllers and a game. Then they started coming out with 1 controller and a game and then no game....just a console with a controller.
