Why would Sony release part of the update or all of it waiting for acitivation. It would have to be finished/ activated by another download And all downloads contain all previous downloads so it wud just be pointless. its not like its the first time Sony have released a games support update
Seen as updates carry all previous updates with them ther wud be no point for releasing half an update early as it wud just mean be downloaded again later.

Seen as Sony have hinted to around a July launch i rekon itll be around the middle. Over the last couple of months updates have been coming out around that time.
Am i the only person tho that thinks that this is a pretty big update to come out for 2.4 its not exactly a key number. at least with the rumors of 2.0 it was a big number. hopefully im wrong and it does come out tho :)
