Oh man, there's so many. Other than the obvious ones (MGS, spyro, crash bandicoot, FF 7, 8 & 9) I loved Tomba!, Digimon, Little Big Adventure and Ape Escape. They all bring back great childhood memories, I loved those games and still do.

That's not what he means. I've played GTA IV on an SDTV and it's really hard to read the text messages, it's got nothing to do with the Font setting in the XMB.

If you mean when it'll no longer be in Beta I'm not too sure, it's possible that not even Sony is sure since if it's still in Beta they're obviously still doing work on it.
what the use of the PS UPSCALE and the PS SMOTHING? what is the best sittings for those? is there any diff in the pic

PS Smoothing basically uses the power the ps3 has to smooth out the jagged lines found on the edges of graphics in PS1 games. This is known as "anti-aliasing". Overall, it's meant to make un-naturally jagged edges look smoother and hence better. I'd say leave it on unless it causes you any problems, though I can't see why it would.
PS Upscale is used for HDTVs, it upscales the picture to make it look more suited for an HDTV's screen. I'd say turn it on if you have an HDTV, but if you don't I can't imagine this option making any difference to the game's visuals.
I played it for a while and have gotten so bored of it that I find it nearly impossible to finish. It LOOKS great but the gameplay is just so very, very bland that it's simply not fun.

I love playing CoD4 online, but a lot of my friends have 360s and I have a PS3. I'd love it if this was made possible, but to be quite honest I don't ever see it happening, at least not on this generation of consoles.
I regret getting the darkness for PS3.There was something really weird for the graphics in that game, and the stor ydid nothing but depress the hell out of me. Still, at least it only cost me a tenner. Thank God for global recession! :lol:
I was scared that I might drop the damn thing, excited about playing GTA IV and MGS 4, and felt a remote sense of longing for a HDTV (still don't have one, might get a small one soon though).
