Posted the wrong link in the first one and for some reason it quoted the entire post again, so this is the correct link: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Configurators.aspx?mid=224 sorry for the confusion

[QUOTE="needhelppleasex"]http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Configurators.aspx?mid=224 I have a rather large request from anyone willing to spend a few minutes to do so. I would greatly appreciate anyone who could run through the custom configurator and choose a computer they find suit for a gaming setup (budget of $1200). I am satisfied with the default Nzxt Guardian 921 Gaming Tower Case and I would like Windows 7 Home Premium included, no monitor, speakers, printer, or the majority of the other accessories need not be included. Everything else is up to you. If you think a faster duo core pcu would be better than a slower quad pcu (for gaming purposes) , change it. I have no graphics card preferences, except it must be Nvidia and I'd like to not drop below a single GTS 250 or something of equal performance. I'm curious about the cooling options and the power supply. So if anyone out there has the time and will to help me out, I would love you forever! :) I'm not interested in persuasion of building my own rig either, thank you very much.

I'm currently selectings parts for my new pc and i had a few questions about duo vs quad core cpus. the computer would be used mostly for gaming and i WILL NOT be overclocking any components of my computer. I was wondering if that means i should get a higher end dual core over a lower speed quad or even the new i7 cpus. My questions about the graphics card is i've read a lot about if you should SLI or not. Some say it depends on what resolution you are playing on, and others say that it will make a difference no matter what. I'm currently thinking about a dual core @ 3.33 Ghz and mabye dual GTS 250 cards. Any suggestions would be nice as to what pcu and gpu i should get. Would a single higher end graphics card be cheaper and stronger or should i stick with SLI. I'm also wondering about what type of fan i should buy and also i'm assuming i should only be looking at the nForce 750i motherboards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One last question I promise, would a Dual SLI GTS 240 beat a single GTS 250 in performance? Thank you very much to all who posted to help me.

I was also curious that with SLI, if the GTS 240 has 1GB, if I use SLI does the memory stack to 2GB because I have heard yes and no to this answer so I have no clue on what the true answer is.

Well I'm customizing from Dell, which I posted on these forums about a week or so ago and received a lot of help on what parts to buy, despite everyone telling me to build a system, but I decided against that. Last night while researching the GTS 240, I did see that they were "OEM," but I'm not entirely sure on what that means.

that's my problem, not many people even know about the GTS 240, but if you search for it you'll find it
