@markhascole: First of all I would recommend you to use KillPing as it's one of those few Ping Killing applications in the market. But recently, I have heard from lots of my friends that live in Asia region and even those who live in Europe, that it doesn't quite perform well and the Pin reduction ratio is also not up to the mark. They are all using their region-based VPN alternatively to reduce ping and lags issue. I would recomment you to use select a gaming VPN as there are some good ones listed here https://www.reviewsdir.com/online-gaming-vpn/ They work just fine in Asia and Europe regions and even beside those. Just select the gaming servers close to your own physical location and you'll be just fine.
