The fact that people are getting 60+ FPS throughout the years is because the company has not made any major changes to their game engine throughout the years. Consumers are upgrading their PC's every year, while Treyarch is implementing "fish A.I. that moves out of the way" technology.

And regarding the parade that you speak of, it's actually Treyarch who's pissing on you and the crowd from their float while they're passing you by, while it's raining money on them.
