Absolutely love this game, my daughter and I have been playing since i bought it. I turned off the voice acting and switched it to the original soundtrack and I am taken back to when I played it on the SNES. People need to stop being so damn picky. If you don't like it then make your own remake.
Not From Software (Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Demon's Souls developer). This game has nothing at all to do with Dark Souls. The publisher is the only link, this has nothing to do with the team behind those fantastic games. All expectations for this game being what I thought it was going to be are gone and I will reserve judgement after playing it.
@sodapoppimpski: I hear ya, but too bad for them that they will not get to enjoy gaming as a whole, instead they choose to stay with one platform and lose out on all the great games on the other platforms
@nongamer: Yep, been playing more PC games than on consoles lately, not to say I don't own some good games on the current gen consoles, however seems to be a lot more to choose from on Steam.
Just stop with all the remasters, I liked it better when game companies put their resources into new IPs, this generation is all about remasters. Give me a new experience instead of one that I have already played.
Love the mentality, "I don't play it, so clearly nobody else does." This is a great game, and has a great community. However, maybe its a great community because it weeds out those people that think the games sucks because they are horrible at it.
I understand what you are trying to say however, you yourself are coming off as one of those PC fanboys unfortunately.
It is also a well known fact and does not have to be stated every single time PC's are mentioned, is that PC's will always surpass consoles shortly after the release of a new console. WE ALL KNOW THIS
I am excited that consoles internal architecture is becoming more like a PC, this makes development of games (which everybody knows is done on a PC) a much smoother transition. The selection of games that I have enjoyed in the years of past, ones that have made my fondest memories in gaming, were games that would never see the light as a legitimate PC release, I mean you could emulate but there is always something lost in the experience.
What I am attempting to get at is that it will always boil down to the same argument us "true" fans of gaming have been trying to get across is that the platform on which you play is a preference and that what matters is the experience that you have with the game itself.
