Okay, I will freely admit to having a bit of a negative view of Sony after the bad press and terrible PR of the last 12 months, but I think even the most diehard Sony fanboy is going to have a hard time defending "Game 3.0".

Imagine that you have just spent a long, hard day defending the manufacturer of your favorite console on various forums, just to surf over to your gaming blog or news site of choice and come face to face with the promise of Sony's vision of "the 3rd age of video games," which I assume to be determined by the life cycles of each of their own systems. Joystiq nailed it: "... remember: generations don't start until Sony says so."

Makes sense, we all know there were no games before the PS1. Duh.
