Hi guys. I just wanted to update anyone who might be curious as to where I have gone so suddenly - I am taking a short 3-day hiatus from all fandom, except Hey Arnold!. I am focusing on Hey Arnold! right now because:

1. I have a Jungle Movie website to get finished and uploaded before 8:00PM EST tomorrow night. I and a few others have been working on getting this finished and recently found out that there will be a chat with Craig Bartlett tomorrow night. So we are now feeling rushed to get the website up for him.

2. The chat with the legendary genius Craig Bartlett is tomorrow night at 8:00PM EST(JAVA required to join the chatroom) and those of whom who are working on the The Jungle Movie fanmade projects are wanting to show the website to the brilliantly talented Craig. This means, I must for approx.the next 30 hours work diligently on one website to ensure its completion before tomorrow night.

3. I plan to continue working on Hey Arnold! fandom related things until Sunday night when I sit down to watch the new episode of Life with Derek. Episode Review/Discussion will be posted to Rivalry_isLove soon after on Mondayand Iplan topost and send outthe survey as well. If you are awaiting futher news on the Life with Derek essay-article project or to take the "Pro/Anti-Dasey?" survey, please be patient. The questions for the survey are already written up and ready to be sent and posted around the web, but I want to send them out at the same time I post the surveys at the LJ communities.At the comms, it will have comments screened! Or I might post it to my LJ as a poll/survey making things much easier if it allows a way for no one but me to see the results until theyare revealedin the essay-article project.I will be posting another thread in the LwD forum here letting people know about the survey and that I am wanting both Pro and Anti-Dasey to respond to the survey. I hope to have a lot of responses since the show has quite a few fans! If it ends up being a poll on my LJ you might just be PM'd a link instead of the actual survey. Don't get discouraged, the poll will be unlocked and viewable by all, I just don't want the results viewable by all - so if that ends up not being possible, you will be PM'd the survey questions instead.

I have just recently retired from editor status of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. A decision that I did not make lightly. I had been contemplating it for months actually (since about October). I just really do not have enough time to be editor of a guide that still has episodes that need to air and is still somewhat current (even though the show is on hiatus). I know, I know. I should have thought of that before I even tried to become editor in the first place. I didn't think it woould be so overwhelming including it with my off-line life. Below are all of my reasons for choosing to retire: Reason #1: "I seriously feel like passing it on..." [Two posts made by me at my Proboard]

It's really just too much especially right now with this years college term coming to a close. Finals are in TWO weeks. I'm bombarded and rushed. There are 25 things in the JN queue at TV.com and the people in the forum are driving me nuts ([begin sarcasm] As if that were anything new. [end sarcasm]). The other forums are fine. The HA! forum, the ATWT forum, the Main Forums. People are actually civil in those forums and they don't go on complete riots.[({***ADDED NOTE: Please don't be offended those of whom who fall into this category, i's not all of you just some. I would prefer to keep the exact ones to myself. Thanks. But if you are a friend of mine you will know that you are not one of the ones that has been tyranical in the forum.***})] But in a way, I feel like I would be letting down Kitty and Mel if I were to just step down and leave the guide to the next highest contributor.Destini

I have an outside life that is calling more and more each day and the online life is getting stressful. Not to mention all of it is just driving me crazy. There's something else too though, the fact that I'm not as into the show as I used to be anymore. I mean, I still watch it and I still like it, but not as much as I used to. The only cartoon that has really stuck with me is HA! and I think it always will be that way.Destini

I'm not as much a fan of JN as I used to be. I used to be very obsessed (just like I am with HA!), but it has lost its luster. I already know everything that is going to happen for the rest of season 3 with the so-long-awaited Jimmy/Cindy kiss in LStN that everyone is freaking over (I could really care less, everyone knew it was going to happen eventually anyway). All because Nickelodeon is taking *way* too long to air season 3 and it has already fully aired practically everywhere else in the world, which is why all the spoilers are out before the episodes even air! And even if a season 4 is ordered, I'll still be excited when episodes air, but I won't be the same fan of the show that I was before its current season.jennerz08

I'm still a fan, yes. And would still do anything to help Jimmy get another season, but I just don't have the obsessed state of mind for it that I once had.

I am very aware of the fact that not many people are going to be very pleased with who the new editor is going to be. I particurally like the out come. Out of all of the possibilities I am rather glad that it turned out to be Will (and that I gave him a chance to be a TU in the first place). Will knows the show. He knows what he is doing. He knows the TV.com ToS, ToU, submission requirements/formats, and he will do a wonderful job as editor (especially since he practically lives in front of his computer!). I have faith in him to do a good job as editor and hopefully/eventually the others will too.

On another note, I happily just found out today that Kim Possible is getting another season. (Yay!) If it can happen for Kim Possible after being cancelled it can happen for JN. (And some could even go out on a limb and say that it could even happen for HA!. If three shows (KP, FG, and RR) can come back after being cancelled, why not one other one too? Okay, so I'm totally dreaming, yet again. And, oh, someone spoke mountains with this one:

The whole JN "hiatus" brings back memories of HA's end. A planned cliff-hanger of a last ep to get Nick to order more. If we learned anything from HA, that doesn't work. It only raises up the fans' expectations. Hiatus is pretty much a code word for cancelled. Compared with JN's creators, Craig was more aggressive by not waiting at Nick's beck and call and just signing up with CN and making PW. The pluses and minuses of Craig's shift have been debated endlessly but at least the guy has cojones.39packard

Makes it sound almost impossible, and it can be, but...I know that the continuely true fans won't let JN end this way and even those like my current self wouldn't either. The show just begs for continuation and just like HA! it deserves it.

Hi, This is my first post in this blog thing here at TV.com (obviously, :roll: ) To tell you the truth, I won't be using this all that much because firstly I'm far too busy to do so and secondly I already have a blog at blogger.com with a team 5 other people (3 girls, 3 guys; 2 Americans, 4 Canadians) and a blog of sorts on my website (when it finally gets posted up, I'm still working on a few things).
