How do I find that out?

Hi guys. I'm looking for a good video card that is not to pricey. I'm a fulltime college student and have a family so money is kinda tight right now. Any suggestions on which video card I should get? I want to get the most bang for my buck. I'm not looking to get a video card so much for games but rather more for video editing and HD playback. Although I will play games every now and then on it. I don't want to spend more than 100-150$ range. Any suggestions? Thanks sooo much for the help and info guys. I'm really thankful.

One thing I have noticed is how a majority of the cows give credit to Gears and admit it looks very impressive. I mean even if Lair doesnt look that fun in the gameplay department, why cant you just admit that the graphics are amazing. Even if its not lair, there are plenty of PS3 games that look really impressive.. Warhawk, Little big planet, Heavenly sword and uncharted all look great. I mean is it really that hard to swallow your pride and just say "You know somethin, Im not a fan of the PS3 but I must admit that Little big planet looks good, or warhawk looks fun etc" Instead you say "but but teh lair looks boring and crappy textures" or "but but teh ratchet looks like a rehash" or "But but teh heavenly sword looks like hack n slash" My god Lemmings, cows admit Gears is impressive. Is that hard to just admit a PS3 game or two might look alright?

I'm a lemming and I think all those games you mentioned with an exeption of little big planet look really good. The only reason I can't say anything about little big planet is because I haven't seen it yet. People that say otherwise aren't being honest. Although I still don't think that any amount of great looking games warrents a 600 price tag. That is why the PS3 will continue to perform poorly in sales and will never recover unless a price reductions is implemented.

Its like when a really fat woman spends all this time and money on making her hair look nice, buying really nice close and doing up her  makeup all nice. She may have spent a lot of energy and money on nice things but the fact is she is still fat and unattractive. She is spending all her time and energy on the wrong things instead of dealing with the real problem of being fat.

I have had ZERO problems with Vista. It works like a dream on my system. I have no idea who these people you know are but for the people I know and the University that I attend, all are very happy with it.

Ouch!!! What do you guys think about this new preview from IGN? I think the gameplay is tight but the visuals are very unerwhelming

Oh you do? Cause I would never know you felt that even though you posted your same thoughts a million times by now in the past couple days on SW lol

Anyway... I don't know anyone who isn't a crazy fanboy who thinks or thought Halo 3 would surpass or match Gears of War. What a dumb thing for anyone to say... Halo is a different game and a different look at feel to it's universe really. I think Halo 3 already looks amazing in it's Beta stage but ofcourse it won't beat Gears. No game has yet
