You got it my friend.
"The visuals are now in HD, though honestly, they probably will leave many unimpressed. But really, no one will care if Halo 3 doesn't look like Gears of War as long as it plays great. And, after an hour of playtime, I think Halo 3 might just deliver"

"After playing a series of matches, I started to get a bit more critical of the game once my journalistic side took over. As I mentioned earlier, I was not too impressed with the game's visuals and this was probably the first bit of criticism I noted to myself and others standing by. Some of the effects such as explosions and weapon fire do look a good deal better than what we've seen before, but I was not too won over by overall appearance of the environments themselves. The maps were well designed and well laid out, but graphically, they just didn't give that "next-gen" feeling of the more immersive surroundings that we've come to expect from the Xbox 360. By this I mean the subtle details we've seen in various next-gen games that create a more encompassing, living, breathing world. Halo 3's environments are definitely not bad looking, but they just don't seem to have that level of detail that makes us feel as though we are being transported from our living rooms to another world"

People, thats what I mean. Yes, the visuals look good but not "NEXT-GEN" good. That is not what I purchased my xbox360 for. Will I still being picking up my pre-ordered Halo 3? Hell yes I will be. However, I am very disappointed in Bunggie. I expected WAY more out of them.
