I agree. I think that Gears of War proved that x360 games can have awesome gameplay and graphics.

I don't think that the Halo 3 graphics are bad, just that they are not as big of an improvement as I originally hoped. Good news is though, there is still plenty of time and Bungie might be holding stuff back.  

good point. I agree, they look good but NOT what I and  thousands of others were expecting. I sure hope it looks better when its released. However, I'm not holding my breath.

I agree. As a lemming I am very disappointed in Bungie. The gameplay looks pretty good but the graphics, in some places, look like an HD verison of Halo 2. In same places it looks great but I would say that the overall look of the came is very disappointing. I really think they are rushing this game. What the heck have they been doing for the past few years. Looks like they are trying to pull a Halo 2 on us again. Procrastinate untill the very last second and then try to rush it. Makes me very mad!

Are you blind? The game looks very good so far and it's not even the finished product. Anyone who can't see how vastly different it looks is either crazy or a blind fanboy trying their best to bash how it looks to make themselves feel better in some creepy lonely sort of way

I'm on honest lemming and I for one am not impressed with Halo 3 and Forza 2's visuals. Sorry. Looks like IGN feels the same way I do. They look good but nothing mind blowing in the very least

If you want proof that the visuals don't look all that great, why don't you see what IGN has to say about the graphics.

First off anyone questioning the gameplay probably doesn't like Halo to begin with or played it.

anywho...does anyone else (who is not a blind fanboy like the many in this thread) notice how great the movement is compared to Halo 2? It looks a lot smoother, especially the end of the video I saw with people riding the Mongoose into the air and coming back down. The movement or animation looks way better as does the line of sight.

With the graphics you can notice the difference easily unless you're a fanboy and we're only at the beta testing phase. I doubt it will beat Gears of War but only fanboys or fakeboys think it will...

I can't wait for this game to come out. 2007 holiday season is going to be a huge one IMO. For all gamers

WHy is it that other games that are in "Beta" form look great? Mass Effect, Bioware, Too Human, Gears of War, Lair, MGS4, Motorstorm? I just don't get why they all looked great but Halo 3 doesnt look great in "beta" stage.

They intentionally made it underwhelming? Sheesh. You guys amaze me. What is it? Is it the beta excuse, the jaggies in a still excuse, the denial "it looks awesome you're crazy" excuse, or the it's supposed to look like that excuse. I do think the gameplay is more important than the graphics in this game, but you should extend these courtesies to the PS3 games you bash for the exact same reason. All three of these threads are so full of damage control its mind-boggling. 

I'm a lemming and I will admit that both Forza 2 and Halo 3 don't looks great, IMO. They good good but not what I was expecting coming from such a powerful system. I really think both games have been rushed and could have looked soooo much better with just a bit more development time. It pains me to say but its true. I would call myself an honest lemming.

I am a hardcore "lemming" but i have been saying all along that Forza 2 looked like crap from day 1, and that Halo 3 looks like garbage too, a rushed game probably

The good thing is 360 has games like Kameo, Viva Pinata, Gears, Fable 2, Lost oDyssey that frankly all destroy any PS3 game, so what if some games look mediocre ?

I'm a lemming as well and I agree with you in regards to Forza 2 and Halo 3. They look ok but nothing mind blowing. Oh well, there are other games on the xbox360 that will show the true power of the system. Mass effect,Too Human etc...
