Well, most of the people at ESPN, most of the people I know, and just most people in general, have said that the Yankees will not catch up to the Boston Red Sox, who are in first place in the AL East, and were leading by double-digits. Well, the Yankees have won 3 in a row, and 9 out of their last 12. Boston however, has won only 6 out of 12, and got swept by the Tigers. The gap is closing rapidly, and Boston will fall short, yet again, as the lead is by only 9 games now. The Yankees are going to climb back on top, and will win the AL East, and if not, win the Wild Card, which they are only 8 games behind. Hopefully, they will come back and win the World Series, after and 6 year drought. The Yankees, led by Alex Rodriguez's MVP type season, will make everyone that doubted them, eat their words in front of the entire country.
