nickelarcade Blog

exclusive reviews are the bane of gaming journalism.

this was said on the cutscene blog.

after wathcing xplay and learning about this blog post i would have to say, yes, maybe exclusive reviews are kinda shady. i mean the post of this post regarding another post (i couldnt find the original) is that, basically, exclusive reviews scream advertisement. today's episode of x-play also clears up a lot. an exclusive review is a favor from the developers, so it would put the reviewers in a bad position to give it a bad score.

so yeah, most of my thoughts come from other people, but the ideas seem to click with me.

ign has too much spyware, im back and im staying!

sorry if i caused some false dissapointment, i kinda feel bad about wanting to leave gamespot. the community is too nice :)

i will also write more of my own reviews. i recently got gta4 on launch day and wil review that. i am REAALLY sorry i wanted to leave the site:(

hey, havent posted in awhile.

ive been on the gta4 forums and now that ive got the game, im quite impressed! the thing that impresses me the most is how you can actually go out on the town with your friends and signifigant others. in other news, i just started playing world of warcraft again because my previous account had been compromized. i play horde on uldaman. i am a blood elf pally named aessal.

i dont think there really is such thing as "replay value"

to me, i think of games like movies, after i played through a forty hour campaign. ill 'watch' the game again in a couple days. Personally i think people are wasteful when they beat a game and never play it again. it would be like me listening to the new cd by linkin park and then saying, "i beat the linkin park cd" i would like some oppinions on the matter.
