to OT's post... turn it around man. I never skipped that much in Jr.H. but in grade 10 I did ALOT and almost flunked a bunch of classes to get kicked out. I had to spend my grade 10 & 11 catching up in summer school which sucked. No one wants to do school in summer when your friends are chilling. Just make your way to class and get it over with. The harder you work the easier your grade 12 yr will be. With me making up for my dumbass I was able to only have to take 4 classes all year for my grade 12 which allowed me to challenge some Uni courses.

My theory... work hard early so you can slack later later with a fat wallet... worked for me.

Probably not I missed over 40 days of school per year since 8th grade until I finished high school. I never got into trouble and I never even brought a note excusing my absences.

Also, trudency is only a fine but if you can't pay you usually get like 10 hours of community service.

I get decent grades. I just don't feel like going on block days because the electives seem pointless. I.e a hour and half of team sports or painting
