Why I Think School is Ruining My Passion for VIdeogames

Videogames have always been a great part of my life, as I continuously played them throughout my childhood up to the current day. But as we grow older and gain more responsbilities, we are unable to devote as much time to the things we would like. One of those responsibilites for me has been school, moreso the grades that are associated with school. Going into my final year of University, the pressure is on to get top notch grades in order to, hopefully, get into a decet post-grad school. With that being said, I feel that I no longer have the time to explore every aspect of games because that is time that I could otherwise be using to work towards getting high grades. In other words, any time that I am not devoting to either (a) making money or (b) improving my grades, is time not well spent. I guess I just wish that I was still in my childhood where grades and other factors that have life-changing consequences were not as important as they are now. This would allow me to devote more time to do what I truly enjoy - gaming!
