We get broadband through a standard ethernet cable which is in the computer room. The box has just a single ethernet cable coming out of it into the comp so im sure a router is needed and the rooms seperate to the room with the 360 in it. I tried harvey norman and seems cables are hated these days so i was told to fork out 150 for for a wireless router but my budget isn't great and im sure theres a way around it with wires?

the framerate was horrible on fable. in fact if there were to many monsters or people on the screen at the same time the game would crash. so it was a problem in the original and was never fixed for The Lost Chapters or any other xbox form( BC, xbox originals).bigE27

Yeah, i was talking to someone else about it and they say it came with the game. Thanks for clearing it up anyways, least its not a fault with the 360. And its still great to play a game with a quieter fan

I recently obtained Fable: The Lost Chapters off a friend of mine with the old school 'box' and i noticed that in some sections the game seems to chug along. Notably when your in a town. Also, i noticed that the fan quitens quite a lot. Any ideas?

My bad there, i thought the guy was involved in the production of the games, i realised he wrote books as well. Just shows that a lot of the time games tied into movies, books and such all seem to be just another market for people to make money in. where does this put sid meier?

I hope that i am not alone when i take a disliking towards this man. Dont get me wrong, I dont take a grudge to a person placing their name onto game releases (Sid Meier has churned out many polished game) but theirs something about clancy that smells.

When sequels become 5 titles long, i mean, he's released over 15 games, and after playing Double agent. I just think he's become one of those money makers sticking his name on titles to pay for his pension..

Just argh

Only recently got bioshock and i've had the Orange Box for a while now. Orange box has frickin portal and HL2:E2. Two well cooked slices of gaming pie. Plus, if your talking overall gameplay experience then you can count on TF2 for longability.

Orange box just has more games for the value of one, im really liking bioshock at the moment though :) I needed something after coming from episode 2 XD :D
