I disagree, while the game is not a technical powerhouse it was crafted under those constraints.  The end result was a very pretty game that runs well on many gaming systems.

There is no tesselation, floors are flat, ect ect.  But this is not something you realize unless your staring at it as the game world just meshes together and animations are flluid and non-janky (I mean look at aion, decent GFX but the jankiest nastiest animations ever).

There are no strict fetch quests, but the world events do become a tad repetetive early on.  With branching events shaking things up a bit.

You can play alone in this game, but while playing alone you will play with others.  Game has no real questing system, every single world event is shared by everyone on the map.

If you want to further your story you can do it alone, or with a friend.  In this situation you would need to be in a party if you want someone to tag along.  These story quests are made for solo players though... continuity is severely hampered.  I had a friend come with me where I needed to wear a disguise and only I got the disguise.  While he walked in with me... no problem without one.

So I just roleplayed that he was my prisoner xD

You know I don't pirate, all the games I have on my computer and steam where bought with my hard earned bones. But games start costing $60 I might pay for a single online game I am interested in, but i'll just get my fix in other ways for the single player games. Because I want to play the game, but the premium makes games harder to purchase. I used to purchase more console games as well but seeing that $60 price point actually discourages me and makes me consider my purchase THAT much more. It might not seem like much but theres a psychological difference between 49.99 and 59.99, a HUGE psychological difference(I used to buy new, but now I might buy used instead). Gimping the used game experience just makes me want to ignore a series altogether. I got Resistance 1 used, liked it so I went ahead and bought Resistance 2 new. If part of the original Resistance campaign was missing I wouldn't of had bothered getting it used and I would of never purchased the sequel new.

It also drove me to game fly i nthe console realm, but used games and game fly does not exist in the PC realm.
