My, latest gripe lol. Concerns video game manufactures, case in point the new spiderman3 video game. Due out on all the current systems including the PS2, which rather surprised me considering that the PS3 is out. And most game manufactures have jumped ship. I will focus on the main points. Price, the PS2 version looks to be right around the $40.00 mark. While the 360,and PS3 will more likely cost $50 or $60 depending on the system. Game play, I read that in the Wii version of the game. You will be allowed to put on the, the Venom suit at any time. Wtf? I don't know about the other versions, yet. So? your basically telling me, I have to buy the same game for all systems to all of the extra content? When it is basically the same game. Another example of this is Resident Evil 4, which in my opinion is the best of the series. That is until Resident 5 comes out:P When they announced, that is was coming out for the PS2. So much for being only exclusive to Game-cube, thanks very much Capcom:roll:. They said game-play was going to be totally different,and exclusive weapons and all that crap. I played both versions of the game, um it's the same game. With the the exception, of the games controls. The PS2 version, felt like the previous incarnations of the game. You know "clunky" controls, how the character walks? If you played the game you know what I am talking about. In my opinion it was alot better on the Game-Cube. The controls were better,graphics wise. To quote X-play on both versions " The PS2 version controls you. Where as the Game-Cube you control it" or something like that. Third, graphics yes we all know how important graphics are. But I will let you on a little secret okay graphics are over rated. Especially Hi-def. A game may look pretty but is it fun to play. Case in point Elder Scrolls 4, I played it on a non-Hi-Def TV. It did not look that bad, from what the experts say especially when it comes to the PS3. Hi-Def makes for a "real good clothes simulator"? That's' what alot of people bought a Hi-Def TV just play 360&PS3. When you could have bought a computer monitor for half the price;). 5 sequel's. I am tired of of seeing inferior sequel's to games. Case in point, Mega Man Games& Sonic the Hedgehog games. Okay enough is enough, Ed Boon creator of the Mortal Kombat Games is a really smart guy. He had the smarts to end the Kombat series, for that I applause him doing so. Other game companies, need to get a clue okay. They "milk" the franchise's to death, another example is the Romance of the 3 king series. Now don't get me wrong sometimes,there exceptions to this rule. Take the Sim games, they are done very well. But I'm tired of seeing expansion packs. Finally the all Mighty Dollar, And that's basically what these company's see. But I want to let you on another little "secret" okay "whispers" if you stop buying these "crappy" games they will eventually stop making them. Oh I just remembered something else important,6 Manufacturing a game. Alot of consumer's out there "complain" they have to wait for the next instalment for the game. Or they don't like the fact the push back the game. I will give a couple of examples of this. Halo3&Jaws Unleashed:roll: I don't know much about Halo,because I don't play it. But, oh my god! Jaws WOW! the word comes to my mind "CENSORED"!
From what I know about the game,not only did it take a long time to make it. And they even pushed it back to work on it. It was still one of the worst games I have played ever! and played that "crappy" fantastic4 game back on the PS1. So, you really should appreciate, these game company's wanting to make a "good" product.
