On the market. 2x 8800 gtx SLI and the game is a slide show at high quality full AA and everything enabled set to max. What a joke.....Hung_Phat

Not really.

You buy Crysis now, and you can run it on medium/high and it looks better than the competition.

You run Crysis in two years from now and it still looks better than the competition.

Win win situation. I don't see why people complain about owning a product that will only get better - it's like buying shares and having a cry when they go up.

So Crysis is released and it is a good game, a very good game. The developers has put a lot of time and effort in it, graphics are spectacular, the story is rich and the whole feel of the games just makes me feel all warm inside about the future of gaming...

But why is is like the holiest of games? I get people who haven't even played the full version yet, tell me "how it changed their lives" and "how it is the alpha an omega". Surely there are other revolutionary games too? What are they all going on about??

When did Crysis become a religion? What am I missing?

Oom_Gert

I am a big fan of Crysis (hence why I started a server hosting company for it!) yet I still don't think it's the holiest of games, or the second coming of Jesus. It's a great game, it's very well made, and looks fantastic....but that's as far as I see it.

i'm perfectly fine with it, cos i got a few friends who are getting the Wii, and it's not like it'll be hard to get others Friend Codes.
