@The_Last_Ride: True~, but it's like if I keep trying to get used to the game and getting better at the same time I won't be able to enjoy it. And it is a great game, like I said.
Were you bad when you were just starting out?

I got a PS4 on Monday, and started playing InFAMOUS: Second Son right away.
Well~, as it turns out I'm a terrible player. Better now, I think, but I took like three hours (not in succession) to complete the "Welcome to Seattle" mission on Normal mode. I can't handle the perspective shit- always gotta keep moving the right stick to look around, which sucks. I mean, I get that it's a great game, but I'm on Catching Smoke right now and have found only one Core Relay. Also, I keep running from those DUP bastards. Also, everywhere's DUP controlled except Queen Anne which I made 69% DUP controlled. I like the open world- like the drug busts and the vent-dashing and the fact that I can get up on the roof and pick 'em off like a sniper if I want to, but it's the always running and never feeling really safe and knowing that they're all around that kills me. I used to have nightmares like this a few years ago and I keep getting these weird shuddery flashback things when I'm playing it, so yeah. Pretty bad.
I tried playing God of War III, and I did okay (for a noob) at first, but there's this glitch where I can't lift the tree on Gaia's hand at the very beginning and I can't update it or fix it in any way cos my PS4 doesn't have an internet connection.
Should I buy a new game, train and become better with InFAMOUS (cos if I get better at it, I think I might be better at like Uncharted and shit when I play it), or wait till Christmas to get an Internet connection?
(Oh, also, is there any perspective shit in Uncharted and GTA V?)
Hey~, I know this thread's cold now, but I thought I might as well let you know I decided to buy the Nathan Drake collection in the end. It's got three games in it and the reasons I originally had to buy it weigh heavily against the reasons to not buy it.
...Also, if I buy it, I won't have any money left, so that might've been a reason. And I'm too proud to ask my parents to pay for my first game ever.
Cheers, thanks again for everything.
@sukraj: For Honor, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Uncharted 4, definitely. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, maybe. Guitar Hero Live, despite the disappointing setlist of songs; I only found three or four bands I really liked. I might sound whiny, but they need to add more rock and metal. And maybe a few songs with ACTUAL GUITARS, ahem ahem. That used to be Guitar Hero's whole identity- I distinctly remember lots of Metallica, some Iron Maiden, The Used, Coldplay and Muse on GH3.
... I mean, I only ever played GH3 in an arcade, but I at least I loved the songs.
@Jaysonguy: Arigatou gozaimasu. Now I have doubts- and being neurotic to the extreme about things like this, I always try to avoid doubts and sugarcoat things for myself to feed my own semi-schizophrenic idle fantasies.
So my computer went ABSOLUTELY AWOL BUST for like a week and I've only read all of these today, but thank all of you so much for all of your help.
I'm currently leaning more towards GTA V and The Last Of Us, but since I tend to change my mind a lot, we'll see.
@Sokol4ever: Arigatou~ :3
A) I still can't get over it.
and
B) Waiting for a PS4 is such torture I can't even.
