As far as reviews go, I read the score first and then the content if it was something I was interested in. Game scores are subjective and scewed by opinion and personal taste of the individual reviewing the game. Granted, they are professional, but what does that really mean? Does it mean thatbecause have a degree in journalism and have been playing games a really long time they have a deep understanding of what the majority of their audience would like? Or is the opinion based more on their individual taste? I do find myself agreeing most of the time with GS on the content of the review, but no always on the score that it is given. It would be nice if a game review could be done without a scoring mechanic. I know when i describe games to people I dont say "7 out of 10," and leave it at that.
No WOW? thats probably because everyone that thinks its the Best game ever are playing it right now.
IMO, RE4 (on the ps2 since thats the one I played) was the best game for me from that generation. But KOTOR comes really darn close.
The Xbox 360 will never sell well in Japan unless MS can overcome these 2 things.
1. Microsoft is an American owned company competing with a Japanese company in their own homeland. Rather than expand I will leave it at that. There are numerous reasons why this would be conceived as bad.
2. Microsoft has a terrible promotion campaign in Japan. Sakaguchi has confirmed this in several interviews how awful Microsofts add campaign in Japan really is. You would think that they would do better research into the country and what is hip before running adds that make no sense in translation.
They are also in a pickle because for them to do well they need more Japanese developers to jump on board. But that won't happen unless there is more demand. Catch 22 my friend.
I'm a pretty big lem but its true they are junk
I had to send mine 360 in today
and the customer care is a @!$^%#$ joke I want to kill people cuz of them

[QUOTE="Heartagram_03"][QUOTE="archpro"][QUOTE="Heartagram_03"]well if your a hardcore gamer that plays 24/7 don't expect your console to last 4 years, if your a casual gamer and play 1-5 times a week then you'll be fineonewiththegame
What's the point of having a console if you're going to be playing 5 hours a week, that's rediculous, even for a Wii.
well maybe some people have lives and don't play games very often like me for example, in elementry school I was a major hardcore gamer I must admit but when I reached high school and soon going to be graduating I met new people and found a career I'm actually inrested to do. I don't play games as much as I used too but I still love to play every now and then.
Im not a hardcore gamer either. Life responsibilities keep me from holding all day game sessions like I did when i was in junior high or when I was unemployed and single. As a result, I haven't had a problem with my 360 either. I keep it in an open environment, along with the Flail head sized power supply and I've only had one problem that I can recall to date in the past 6 months of playing.
Guess what mj53916200483, you don't have to buy one.
